That's why I voted for the Balenciaga, cornflower. The Louis Speedy 25 will always be around so, you can save for that later.

It's a tough call, but I would choose the Balenciaga Cornflower if it is a colour that you are really drawn to, because it will become more and more difficult to find, and you might regret not getting it while you were able to. The Speedy can be your second bag!

you can get an lv 25 ANYTIME, but balenciaga is more rare. especially if you love the colour, it's getting harder to get each growing year

If you have been wearing hand me downs from your mom, then I think your first designer handbag should be new. I would go for the Speedy. Now if you were going to get a new cornflower, that would be another thing, but used cornflowers will be available in the furture. JMO.

Since this is your first designer bag, go for LV, it's classic and very versitile.

I'd go for the Bbag... LV's are a little more classic - as in, they'll be around longer and not sold out as quickly (or out of season) as the Bbag

Balenciaga. Its easier to carry in a pinch (when you have your hands full) - although I've carried my speedy with an extra strap - the strap is very thin and the speedy kinda acts like a projectile on the shoulder.

the balenciaga hugs your body and conforms to it more than the LV.

So . . if your neat and tidy and a perfectionist (like my virgo sister) you'll like the speedy better. If you're a little sloppier (and edgy) then get the squishy conforming balenciaga (which would drive my sister NUTS)

I agree with many of the other comments. For your first designer bag get something that is new and timeless--the speedy. That is a bag that you'll always keep and fondly remember the purchase!
