Eilene: Your moto jacket is too beautiful. The color looks so gorgeous & it matches your hair so well....I think this color looks better on you than black!! & 34 looks very nice on you...if you almost get this jacket for free...then, don't feel guilty. Just enjoy it! It looks so gorgeous on you.

So I had the privilege to go feel up one of these jackets at Barneys and OMG it's like Buttah with a capital B! It reminds me of the earlier bbags (circa 2004). I would've just sat there and petted the jacket all day, if it wasn't for the beautiful SA staring at me the whole time - pressuring me with her fake nonchalance.

I tried on both a 36 and 38 (I'm a US 4) and the 36 made me more aware of my armpits than I would like, but the 38 felt like wrapping the coziest blanket around myself. So I ended up getting the 38 in Black/brass. I don't look as cool as all of you, but I feel awesome! I would totally post pix, but I know not how and don't really trust this "internet" thing yet...

Eilene, OMG *drool* those pics are just making me want that olive green even more. Since you have a few different colours, if you had to have just one which colour would you go with?

Yasmin's jacket in the pic about is the most insanely gorgeous shade of green!:nuts::love::drool:

I am confused though - is she wearing the same jacket in these pics or is this a different color?

^^^ I *think* Yasmin is wearing Khaki from 2009 in all the pics. I think it is just the lighting makes the colour look slightly different in the different pics.... :yes:

See my comparison pics earlier in the thread of Khaki 2009 and Khaki 2010. They are quite different colours from one another - 2009 being brown/olive and 2009 being more military green/olive.....;)

I really LOVE this jacket...the buttery leather (oh so soft) and the color (beautiful olive green)...it is definitely my color. It is so hard to get the true shade of green. I have to say that when I took it out of the box...I was in love!! I got a 34 & 36 to try. I decided to go with the 34 since everyone says they stretch.

Am I a BAD girl for not saving the money????? Please tell me no....

Is it a sacrilege here to pass on the following info......a Rick Owens Grey leather jacket on sale?!

I did break down and order one in a 40, tho it may be too small.....does anyone have one, and if so what size do you wear in the RO and Bal jackets?
I have never seen one IRL, and decided it wouldn't be a bad idea to diversify a little!
I promise that the Bal jackets remain first in my heart! ;)

I have the black blistered leather jacket (not the bomber) in a size 40 and I love the fit. My Bal jackets are 36 (2008 & 09 F/W) & 34 (2010 S/S). If you are a 40 in Bal...I would probably go with the 44.
They are so different from the Bal moto but so awesome. I LOVE mine!

Girl, you are crazy!!!

It's so freaking hot in Austin right now, I don't know how you can concentrate on leather jackets - Bal or otherwise. ;)

(I've been watching the weather reports as I'll be commuting back and forth between Austin and San Antonio for most of June. I wish it were cool enough for a moto jacket!!!)

But I must say, it's a gorgeous jacket. Let us know how the RO 40 compares to Bal....

these pics make me regret not getting this color when i had the chance, i chose my navy instead of khaki, i wish i could afford both at that time.:crybaby::cry:
