You are not alone! Actually I had a dream that I owned a 03 Dark Caramel City last night (prob because I saw one listed recently). I was so happy I found a rare one like this but then suddenly I had lost it or given it a away, can't quite remember, and I was totally bummed!
Yeah...bag rehab next

Nope, GH Velo is out this season, though no one has spotted any... yet...

^^^ The ardoise i've seen in real life is a shade or two darker than what appears on the Diabro website.

I think it is very hard to tell the exact shade from photos, as there are so many variations on Bal leather, making three bags from the same colour look almost different, to my eye.

Also, putting any colour - ardoise included, with different hardware makes the leather colour appear slightly different. Sorry I haven't been of much help

Here's a pic of a Dark Night Folk from Bal NY (I'm going to pass as I just got the Folk in Ardoise). They also have 2 of these currently at Barneys in NYC!

Yeah, it looks like a beauty in that picture! Deep blueish purple undertones.
