THANK YOU, SUSAN!!! I'm a very neutral-colored bag person, too, but that Bleu Lavande sounds AAAMAAAAZING! I liked Outremer, but I'm glad I held out, because that kind of purple is too perfect for me. Can't wait to see swatches!!

A little disappointed about the orange in Coquelicot, even though I knew there was the possibility, since the flower has those undertones; a Rouge Theatre-ish red would have been more my cup of tea, but this works out for my bank account.

FW11 is going to be incredible!

Thanks so much for sharing Susan Lee - you're a star! ;)

For me it would be the red....was hoping for a very dark deep red though so will have to wait to how much orange there is IRL first......

:hugs: so glad to help (and enable) ladies!!

Jojo called me so excited, and told me to spread the word. She is a gem and I am so glad I could pass the info on to all of you!

I'll respond more in a bit-hard to answer everything while on my phone!

Colors:
Cyclamen-a saturated dark sorbet/ Magenta-ish toned pink. Deep and rich-no purple tones. I am not a pink person and this one speaks to me!

Bleu Paon-a rich turquoise, like a mix of 05 Turquoise, Cyclade and Aquamarine. Stunning. Will come in RH, RGGH and SGH, not just the limited GGH. I need something in this color even though I already have Cyclade RGGH! I am smitten!

Bleu Lavande-a deep blue purple. Like a mix of Outremer, Marine and Raisin (but with no red tones in the purple). Not as dark as Officier, not as bright as Outremer. A great color for those who love blues and purples..;)

Coquelicot-deep poppy orange red....like Rouille and Tomato mixed. Rich and delicious and nothing like Sang at all-and not too bright/shocking.

Champagne-a light golden champagne color, like you poured yourself a glass! Subtle shimmer, but not metallic. Should be stunning with RGGH.

Papyrus-a mid toned neutral brown, like a mix of Noix and Galet. Not as light as Galet. Maybe a little more on the cool side. Very versatile.

AND

Metallics!!!!!!!! Only available in RH City....

Argent Fonce: Silvery covered deep green-but heavy on the silver/platinum. Like if you painted over evergreen with silver. Its striking!

Argent Clair-pure platinum silvery color. Stunning. A true statement metallic.

  • Cyclamen - already have the '08 Amethyst/Magenta; no need for another.
  • Bleu Paon - I'm not a fan of anything Teal; won't buy it.
  • Bleu Lavande - was hoping that this would be a darker version of Outremer (even though I already have Outremer - I just love this color).
  • Coquelicot-wicked bummed that this is going to be an orangey-Red; I agree with *beaux* .. we need another Red with blue undertones!!!!
  • Champagne - light bags; nope .. not in this climate!
  • Papyrus - have Noix & Galet, so .. probably don't need this
  • Argent Fonce - nope; not a 'green' color lover
  • Argent Clair - already have the '05 Silver and the '09 Pewter

I'm bummed ...

To clarify, Bleu Paon is the GGH version the Las Vegas boutique started a waiting list for or is that an LE color? :confused1:

Interested in Bleu Paon, Bleu Lavande, & Papyrus!

Bleu Paon is the same color (sometimes referred to/ called s/s 2011 LE turquoise). Its just the City LE in GGH, and the color will be available for f/w 2011 in all other styles and HW choices.

This one is my top choice, followed by bleu lavande and Cyclamen. Love the pop colors!!

OMG! I think I am going to faint...:faint:

I just got concrete evidence on the F/W 2011 colors from Jojo. My heart is beating so fast I am so excited, and had to share with my TPF sisters!!!

I DIE!!

Those of you looking at maybe getting S/S 2011 colors should jump on them now because the F/W 2011 colors are nothing at all like the S/S ones!

Wow Susan, thank you so much for your detailed descriptions! So much fun to read:smile1:
I'm very curious to see Bleu Paon and Coquelicot. Wonder if the Bleu Paon will be similar to the 11SS LE Turq?

Oh, and the brighter the colors are the BETTER!:woohoo::heart: I love both neutrals and pop colors, but no brand can beat Bal when it comes to the stunning variation of colors IMO. I love my neutral Bals but I probably love my pop colors a tiny bit more:D

Roey, I see VM as you've described, like a teal-ish green with a hint of blue. But I've got Tempete and I disagree with your assessment, it doesn't have any teal undertones at all. You've got to have a green to create the blue-green tones of teal. None of the Tempetes I've ever seen have had an undertone of green either on the bag or edges & have never seen it described to include green either. As you said, to each their own :) Sometimes people see what they want to see as well! :D

o_luxurious, that would make sense. I do think I'd prefer Turq with RGGH than GGH. I guess I have a decision to make! :graucho:

Then maybe we have different opinions of what teal actually is. To me, it's a blue-green, the color of the edge-coating on the bag. The edge-coating on Tempete is not the same color as the bag. And if you search the forum, you will find several members who also see teal in Tempete - delmilano, sandysandiego and juldoc, to name a few. In fact, when sandy received her Ardoise SGH PT, she personally let me know that when she placed them side by side the teal in Tempete was obvious.

This is exactly why so many members become confused and misled about color descriptions and pictures on the forum, because we all see them differently.

But honestly, everyone is too excited about the new Fall colors to read about the undertones in Tempete so we will agree to disagree and move on to Fall!:yahoo:
