i saw pix of the Burgundy today :love: it's coming as part of the Holiday Collection. i noticed two things, firstly, the h/w on the classic city tho indeed classic, was yellow gold (bloody hell! not happy) & secondly the price was indeed the UK equivalent of an increase of $100. i do hope this isn't going to be like one of the special dotty/star cities with CGH only :confused1: oh & lovely wallets in this color too & a new, more rounded cornered CP.

i also saw the OB irl for the first time OMG! it's positively DE~LISH! i have already declined several classic cities in this color b/c of their dry stiff leather
:tdown: the one i saw today had GSH which i don't want but i'm seriously considering the possible offer of a special order for a RGGH P/T just to get the gorgey leather i want.

i'm also declining my met anthra classic city, while the color is beautiful, i am just not feeling the scaley cracked looking leather :cry:

pix tomoz, my eyes are practically crossed i'm so tired :sleepy:

Great, burgundy's on my (mental) wishlist!

And while I realise that the RH in gold finish is not going to be hit all over town, I must admit I adore it (I sandpapered my RH back on my Black Town last year to a pale gold finish because I don't like the whole black hardware on dark bags for me)... only, the price hike is not really encouraging me to stick my neck out for another Bal in a hurry.

Oh my goodness, that OB with RGGH is the most divine combo: hope you get yours soon.

Yes, please, pics when your eyes are uncrossed!

Wow .. that Anthra Metallic is NOT purdy at all!!! I've seen other ones where the leather looks wonderful; this is NOT one of them!

I have to say that the 'OB' is definitely the "sleeper" of the season! I saw it IRL at Barneys/Copley (now that I work upstairs from the mall) and it was very nice. Thank goodness it was a City, otherwise, I probably would have caved in!

On some colours, like Burgundy, I would actually like that.
The hardware on my RT has a more gold-ish tone to it though still aged brass of course. It looks stunning, I think, and really gives the colour (even more) depth.

^ ^ yep, i know you're right, it's me & my white metal OCD :rolleyes: i am going to have to get over this in time for Miss Bordy arriving next month :presents i just hope this color on the bags is as gorgeous as the bordeaux moto jacket :love:

Hi belovaldi, your atlantique looks nothing like the picture on the Balenciaga website. Somehow on the web, it looks way lighter than yours. My mother in law is in Paris and I can't decided whether to get anthracite or atlantique...
