I JUST SPOKE WITH MILAN STORE MANAGER AT THE PHONE:chatty: AND TOLD ME THAT THE COMPANY DECIDED TO DON'T PRODUCE BAGS IN VERT MENTHE (AT LEAST FOR EUROPE)

SO VERT MENTHE WILL COME ONLY ON SMALL ACCESSORIES:cry::crybaby::sad:
THAT'S EXPLAIN WHY NOBODY ORDERED IT...

(THOUGH I HOPE IT IS NOT TRUE)

What a bad news!!! :crybaby:They're really crazy not to produce bags in vert menthe!!:bagslap:
I hope it might be not true, too! :shucks:

They probably canceled the production of bags (if it's true there will be none) after they offered the color at market because not enough buyers liked it and bought it. It doesn't happen all the time, but I guess it isn't that unusual. They gave a party and nobody came. :tumbleweed:

Hmmmm ... Gretta Luxe ordered some VM bags (RGGH). I had originally put my name down, but I'm going to back out 'cos I really don't like the color.

Now .. as far as Italy is concerned ... my FAVORITE place in the world! Haven't been for the last 2 years (H/B lost his job, economy), but prior to that, we went every year (well - okay, 1 year we went to the French Riviera .. but kept on crossing over to Ventamiglia!!).

My mother was from Modena, so I still have family there .. and I do plan to 'retire' there. I was interviewing for a position in my company that was based in Milano, but I wanted to go on the ex-pat program and they wanted me to be a 'landed-citizen' ... not cost effective. Oh well .. I'll get there!!

OMG ... aren't these also called [pardon my spelling] Croscatini? I so remember my Grandmother making these ... YUMMY!!!! About 6 years ago, I went to visit all the famiglia in Bologna/Modena .. I ate SOOOOOO much!!! Lasagna Verde, Bollito Misto ... Mortadella (YUM!), etc., etc., etc. -- with of course -- lots of Lambrusco!

I will be back in mid-Sept <--> mid-Oct!! Can't wait!

lol ...they are"gnocchi fritti"(usually served with yummy mortadella!!:graucho::graucho:..and good wine:drool:

^^ I tried those gnocchi last summer when I was visiting Monte Cimone.. they're so yummyyyyyyy!
Maybe CeeJay meant Crostini? =/
Btw I hate you both, CG and CJ because I'm super hungry right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet u r right- those that did see it irl were not impressed but it is hard to imagine what could have been so ugly about a deep emerald turquois- this was my #1 choice for fw- :-(

Mine too! I was so excited for this color, I guess maybe there is a reason why the buyers don't like it.... I'm trying to convince myself that it is super gross IRL and I would have hated it (even though I don't believe this little white lie one bit)! Anyways maybe we can all hope that the small accessories do so well and Balenciaga is overwhelmed with requests for bags that they change their minds and produce bags in a future season... *fingers crossed*

Meanwhile, I guess I'll have to "settle" for my second choice- Antrha PT SGH!

Maybe this is a blessing in disguise...even though I was really looking forward to a city in VM, now I can save money for FW colors instead. But, I'm still sad. WHAT could have been so wrong with the color that no buyers liked it? I'm even more curious now - what does it look like IRL!!!
