So after cervical cancer this past year, I am going in for a hysterectomy in June. I figured, no time like the present to get my first Louis Vuitton! Maybe holding him as I go onto the hospital will make it less traumatic? I have always made landmark purchases. Once I lose ten pounds, I can buy this or that. I just call it motivation!presents

My hubby bought me my first designer bag when I survived my first grad school midterms. I'll definitely be rewarding myself when I graduate, as school is kicking my butt. We'll see what I decide to get.... My parents bought me a ring when I graduated with my first college degree. DH bought me a nice watch when I started my first post-bachelor's degree job. I prefer to mark big moments with jewelry...or a car? but bags are good for smaller milestones. I agree with the above poster who mentioned that you have to limit them, though.

Yes I do buy bags to mark milestones! Then each represented a special memory, like birthdays, graduations, promotions, anniversaries, vacation trips etc.
