Bags that you absolutely love but never could bring yourself to carry?

Love, love the look of LV Capucines, the off-white color ( I think its called Milk). I went to the store and asked to hold it and instantly knew I would never wear it. It was so heavy and delicate. And its hand-carry only. I have no idea how someone carries that much weight by hand all day! The bag is amazing though.

Frankly a Birkin or Kelly. I love the look but would probably dread carrying it. Heavy as hell empty let alone with stuff. Wish i could pull the trigger but dreading to carry is stopping me! Good for the wallet!

Lady Dior! I'm a guy and I love using women's bags but the Lady Dior is a bit TOO lady like for a guy like me. But the Lady Dior will ALWAYS be my all time FAVORITE handbag.

Answering this just in terms of bags I do have:

I don't have any valuable bags I don't carry. I do, however, have a ton of cheap bags I'm very attached to that turned out to be impractical or goofy looking to carry - mostly bought on vacation to cheap places. Some of these I regret buying and some I definitely do not:

- Colorblocked suede envelope clutch in green, white, teal - Vietnam
- Large colorblocked suede envelope clutch / shoulder bag in red, orange, brown, ivory - Vietnam
- Ridiculous canvas / upcycled milk pouches saddlebag - Vietnam
- Camel-tone leather boston bag from small leather goods maker in Ethiopia
- Fabric tote - India

The envelopes are from Vietnam; fantastic leather, but terrible strap quality; I am thinking of cutting them off and replacing with chains or ribbons. The $10 upcycled mik pouch saddlebag, which is SO cute, I do regret: if I'd gotten a pouchette in same fabric instead, I'd be taking it everywhere. These are all taking up space in my closet. Souvenir bags are so impractical in actual life.

Love this Thread, Enjoyed reading all the comments.
I am a Bagaholic, it's becoming an issue that my mom suggested that I should probably see a consultant. :D
However I act very careful about buying a handbag, if I feel the urge to by one I usually spend two weeks watching all these fabulous "whats in my bag" videos and reviews on specific design I'm interested in.
So, I never bought a bag to have it seat in my closet most of the time, however I can never picture myself carrying a Balenciaga as it doesn't suit my style...although I'm absolutely in LOVE with Hermes, but I like to have them at least 5 years from now as they are a bit too structured and serious for my age and body shape....I have convinced myself to not think about it with purchasing a Prada saffiano instead.:smile1:

Chanel GST. I think it's gorgeous but on the other hand - chain straps that are so short the bag sits so high under my arm I could never get anything in or out without taking the whole bag off my shoulder, no real closure, thick leather, very very heavy, visible branding - all big no-no's in my book! I think I'd go mad within the first fifteen mins if I tried to haul a GST around...
