I fell in love with this Dior Samourai bag when it first launched back in 2007 and bought it without a second thought. I knew it wasn't going to be a practical handbag but it's been sitting pretty in my closet over 5 years, never seen the sunlight. I think it's quite sad. I've kept telling myself i'm going to carry it when i get older but it's already passed that point haha.
I'm still crazy about it but i can't see myself using it anytime soon. I don't have any desire to sell it either. Did i mention i don't baby my bags? This one is just too special to me.

I want to hear if any of you faced the same dilemma... caring too much for a bag that you'll never get to wear!

^ Wow, that is a gorgeous bag though!!

I bought a Prada Saffiano tote from the boutique, full-price but it's been sitting in my closet.
Reason: It's a hand-held (No more hand-held bags for me!)
It's such a beautiful bag and Saffiano leather wears like iron..but I now realize that shoulder bags are the only ones I actually utilize. I have carpal tunnel syndrome.

This is a really pretty bag! I am very careful with my purchasing and am not an impulse buyer, so if I wouldn't carry the bag, I wouldn't buy it. If the bag looks nice but is not practical, I usually talk myself out of it and just don't even desire to own it anymore.

I can talk myself out of buying it but it doesn't mean I don't still love it in theory. My favourites are white WC and white MC LV any style.

Your Samourai bag is gorgeous! You should wear it sometime. You'd be surprised how it can add a lot of glamour to any outfit. Just be sure to keep your outfit really simple.

Agree 100%
It's a great bag....i would love to wear that... and i would!!!!! Life is too short....enjoy it!

I love the Celine Luggage and Phantom bags but I probably couldn't justify owning one. They just doesn't fit my lifestyle. They're heavy, can't really be worn over the shoulder, and are a bit too fancy for my office.
