I don’t shop at Nordstrom, since there isn’t one in my province. However I can’t say I was impressed by either their Yorkdale or Pacific Centre locations.
Unfortunately I’m stuck dealing with them for my Delvaux order, since they have exclusivity.
What bag is on the way?
Givenchy Nightingale Micro. I found it on Fashionphile in very good condition for $380. It has some wear on the corners and handles but not bad at all. It's an early version but no clue what year. I know nothing about Givenchy bags.
Oh, you can still shop at Nordstrom online, but I have never done that. The exchange rate just makes the whole purchase a lot more expensive!
Never been to the Nordstrom at Yorkdale. They didn’t even have a Nordstrom when I was there. I have access to N, but still prefer Holts

I try to avoid online, since I’ve had a few bad experiences receiving imperfect items from Holts online, Saks online and SSENSE online. :/

. I told myself not to buy handbags online anymore as well. Two times - first I bought this bag, it came nicely packaged. I was all excited. Took it out of the box, and it was a lot smaller than I thought. It’s a CLUTCH, not a bag. LOL. I am not a clutch person, so I plan to sell it to a consignment store. The other purchase was a hobo bag that the shoulder strap didn’t work out.What were your online shopping experiences?

Scratched leather on a bag, missing button on a jacket and a coat shipped with a broken hanger.
The worst was a proenza bag from holts that indicated a long strap only for it to arrive with a tiny one.
I’ve had lots of issues with product descriptions being incorrect! Wrong materials!
I ordered a Brunello Cuccinelli jacket from saks and when it arrived it was completely the wrong size. (48 EU that was more like a 52).
This isn't the one I bought (obviously), but it looks very similar.

That does sound very frustrating! That’s why I don’t do online shopping unless I have to. Hope your Delvaux bag will be a good experience (I assume you ordered it online?).
I haven’t gotten to the ordering part! I contacted Delvaux via email and they put me in contact with an SA at Yorkdale Nordstrom. I described him what I was looking for and now he is waiting on Delvaux HQ to inform him whether or not it is feasible and how much it will cost. (Somewhere around 12000 CAD).

The estimated production time is 6-8 months so hopefully by then I’ll be able to pick it up in person in Yorkdale. (Sigh Covid-19)
