Bags in dustbags; how to identify what's inside?

I remember the order of my bags and I put them back exactly in the same spot. Of course, this is easier since I don't quite have the sizable collections that many girls here have !

that's me all the way!

i also remember what kind of dustbag my LVs have, so I know which is which...for example, my duomo and speedy 30 have the new drawstring. my PH/antigua have the foldover style. so once i remember which order they are in, it's easy!

now for the coach bags, that's a different story!!

Maybe if you make a label with the handbag's manufacturer, model and color printed on it and stick it on the dustbag that would help.

kmccrea: I think that's a good idea to put manufacturer, model number and color.

I will be taking pictures of my bags this weekend, labelling and pinning them onto my dustbags.

I'm pretty good at remembering what bag is in what dustcover but, I like that idea about the pillowcase AND matching the designer with the pillowcase color!

I line them up nicely in their dustbags on the shelf of my closet. I know each of them by their placement and shape.

i have my coach in a coach shopping bag, my burberry in a big brown bag bloomies bag, my lesportsacs together in a box, my mj in the biggest box, chanel in chanel bag, and wallets, accessories, all the stuff i'd switch for daily use in a little basket in front. but i want to get the same colored boxes and just pin on some poloriods, i think thats a really cute idea.

Don't have so many bags - I can tell wich one is in the dustbag - Mulberry Rosemary, Hermes Birkin, MJ Stam, MJ Blake and LV Duomo
