Bag size and Perception

I use a measuring tape too. Sometimes I dont have a tape ( if my baby takes it off me etc) so I basically measure/compare it to the size of my lap top which is about 14" x 9 ". Handy!

I stated buying handbags off of e-bay and finally had to resort to pulling out a tape measure out of my desk at work or at home so I could get an idea of what size I was buying. Now I have some bags that are the perfect size so I try to keep those dimensions in my mind when looking

I am glad I am not the only one doing this. My husband wanted to know why the tape measurer was in the study. And then I should him how to measure bag drop.

This is such a good point! I have completely misjudged the size of bags purchased on the internet, and gotten stuck with large heavy bags that hurt my shoulder! I'm so done with large bags! Impractical for me!
