Hey guys! I'm looking to purchase my very first Balenciaga bag and I'm interested in Classic City in black. Does anybody have any advice?

Sorry if this is too late. Personally I don't mind the size of city but I don't know why the straps on all Bal bags have to be so short. For guys, it's better to carry a Part Time. The strap is longer-ish and the size is better.
I have to agree with you on the straps, wish it was a little bit longer but I definitely love the Classic City size it's perfect for my size since I'm not that tall. When I was travelling, I was able to fit a lot of stuff surprisingly. Here's me with my Classic City.

I completely agree with you guys. City's straps are wee bit short and like you I love mine so dearly.
Here's my photo of my Balenciaga Classic City worn handheld and on the shoulder
I really like RH City. I wanted one in Anthracite or something dark grey (gris tarmac) but they don't have what i am looking for in this fall's collection. So I went for something else. Though I tried on this GHW black City. Is it weird on me?

Its a new bag so the leather doesn't broken down yet that's why it looks or feel weird using the shoulder strap. Once you break down the leather and it become more slouchier it will be more comfortable wear it over the shoulder. Though I like carrying mine hand held most of the time.
It actually looks good on you! Since you're taller (I assume) the GHW style look normal on you; regarding the leather, it needs to be broken in before it's comfortable to wear the bag over the shoulder. I got mine in late may and the leather has already started to become soft. You should definitely get it!
But for me personally I much prefer RHW City for guys. And the only time I like the Giant HW on guys is when carried on style of Bal Work or Bal Weekender.
Thanks a lot! I am 6' tall. I prefer the RHW but the store I tried giant hardware didn't had any dark RHW in stock. I just ordered Givenchy Antigona. I want the next bag to be Bal City though.
Yeah I think RHW is a better choice imho for guys. I like it because its simpler not too flashy an absolute discreet hardware compare to Giant.
Anyone know if the classic hip can be worn perfectly on a guy as a cross body? or the strap is too small?
