I had a repair done and when I called for an update the lady said ontario Canada- when in fact it was california. Sometimes they hire people who dont know as much as they should;) that being said I'm sure it will all work out. Lv is pretty good with making it right. Good luck!
 
Anyone else have an awful experience with the repair customer service? Sent South Bank Besace to replace metal that attaches the strap and two brass decorative pieces that had fallen off. They were repairing at no cost. Mailed out to Canada (from NY) on August 20th. Expected bag back in 6-8 weeks as per rep I spoke to. Ok, fine. Constantly checking repair status online and seeing "repair in status" message. Finally called today and was told the bag was actually shipped back to me on SEPTEMBER 19!! Customer service rep say attempted delivery and bag was returned due to not being able to deliver package. She sent me the tracking and that's NOT what the tracking says. It says "out for delivery" then five hours later "package damaged" and was being returned to sender. How has my bag been sitting back in Canada FOR A MONTH back at the repair center and nobody thinks to contact me??? Not UPS not Louis. Repair was closed so the rep couldn't contact them tonight so they are supposed to call me tomorrow. Anyone else have an experience like this? So so so so disappointed and upset.

I have an artsy that I bought the lettering is literally faded?????? I called LV and they aid that they could not help me? I went to an LVstore and the salesperson told me that she CAN not help me but I should go on google and look up how to fix LV artsy I will NEVER BUY a LV again? I'm so disappointed I have 8 LV bags and I will NEVER EVER EVR buy another one? SO gross

Ugh! Lv repairs are all over the place. I contact LV through the online system, because stores were not doing repairs at the time. I got told I had to send it to them for assessment. I got a shipping label and my paperwork showed my old Hawaii address, the location where I bought this LV, and not my new address in California. I emailed the rep back, they told me to contact customer service to change my address. I did and they told me that my address was already showing my California one. So I sent in my reverse pochette metis in, setup 2019 bag barely used canvas was cracking on the flap. Fast forward about a month. I get an alert from UPS that I had a package coming....to my Hawaii address. I contacted LV immediately and they said that is was soo weird but they would handle it with ups and not to worry. Well finally it showed it was rerouted back to their facility. Got another alert about a week later from UPS that my bag was on its way to me finally. Got it, they had told me over the phone that the canvas had been replaced on the flap( I had asked if I was getting a new bag or what they had done ref my repair). I was pretty surprised they replaced canvas! I opened the bag. Well they fixed it, but it has a cut now right under the repaired flap. I'm now dealing with this issue. I'm so over LV. And about 3 days after I received my bag, LV emailed me that my return was complete and my bag was on the way. If I HD not had the UPS account my bag would have went to Hawaii and I wouldn't have known!!!!!!
 
I shipped my epi pochette for zipper repair and the turnaround time was incredibly fast. I dropped my bag off at UPS at the end of September and it was delivered at my house, repaired, in about two weeks! I think I waited longer for them to respond to my initial email. I'm in Northern CA so it usually only takes one day for UPS to deliver to Ontario (Southern CA) and vice-versa.

Now, it's Saturday and still no news. The repair shop manager is apparently always "at lunch" and there is always "no further info available" in regards to this issue. I've been told I'm getting a phone call within 24 hours every day since Tuesday.Of course today the warehouse is "closed on the weekends" so I should get a call Monday. I won't hold my breath. This is completely unacceptable and seems there is no place else to turn to get news or information about where my purse has been for the last 5 weeks. Anyone have suggestions on who else or how else to reach out to get this settled?
 
I shipped my epi pochette for zipper repair and the turnaround time was incredibly fast. I dropped my bag off at UPS at the end of September and it was delivered at my house, repaired, in about two weeks! I think I waited longer for them to respond to my initial email. I'm in Northern CA so it usually only takes one day for UPS to deliver to Ontario (Southern CA) and vice-versa.
Jealous it went so smoothly for you :)
 
I hate this repair location. 2 awful experiences with them. My last straw was when they ruined my vintage Montsouris GM backpack after 2 botched attempted repairs (sent in originally for replacement leather which turned into repairs FOR the botched repair) which took months. Ultimately I was given credit for the bag because they sent me home with a bag with 2 holes in the canvas (quality control stinks cause I don’t know how the repair specialist could not see this). I am so happy I had before pics to show them that my bag was in very good condition before going in. I miss this bag so much. Good luck with them.

I emailed customer service for a quote for my bag maybe 1.5 -2 months already, haven't heard anything from them yet. I agreed, customer service, quality control is horrible.

Awful! From my own experience with them, it feels like there is no accountability with that place. I have no way of contacting anybody myself and when I call the regular Louis number, those reps call over and don't get anywhere either! Disaster and so not what I would expect from this company. Sorry you had to deal with them too.
