I love this. And in general I love the colors in her original paintings. I wish Hermes would make one scarf true to the original. Their colorways of her designs are always a little disappointing to me.
To my knowledge, Hermès has produced all her original paintings as a cw for her designs with one exception, the Jaquar Quetzal. :shrugs: (They produced this in the hand painted change tray instead) That and they cropped the L'esprit de la Foret, minimizing a lot of the intricate details in her design :doh:but the original cw was produced.

I’m guessing that the original painting colors for Wild Singapore will end up as CW01. The timing of her IG post is not accidental. I’m thinking this is part of the promotion for the EU opening, and they saved many of the Wild Singapore colorways for that. This is only speculation on my part, and time will tell.
Sorry to disappoint but there are only 6 cws for this design and there isn't a cw 01. :P I believe the cw closest to the original painting is cw 06 CP: Jaune/Vert/Multicolore. The other 2 cws not shown aside from this are:
08 CP: Vert/Bleu/Rose
17 HG: Vert/Bleu Nuit/Orange

So the cws for Wild Singapore are 02, 03, 05, 06, 08 and 17. Hermès doesn't produced cws in exact number order and that has always been the case.

@Meta thank you for posting it
Happy to share as I'm hoping that this will arrive in stores!

The story behind
Inspired by the design of The three graces scarf: It was during a trip to South Africa that Alice Shirley was lucky enough to spot a giraffe, then two, then three, concealed behind the acacia tree on which they were feeding. Giraffes are the tallest animals on earth and their delicacy is immeasurable. Their movement is sweeping and elegant. They have panoramic distance vision and sleep very little, often standing. They prune the trees by feeding, and disperse seeds by moving around, living in perfect harmony with their environment. Conscious of the beauty and balance of nature, Hermès pays homage to these graceful and poetic giants.

my current favourite but will try them at the store soon I might end up with more than just one shawl:smile:
I “think“ that I really like the jardins de soie 140 in the blue cw that is also on your list, but I am not sure until I see it in person, unfortunately it will be a while before I am able to do that, so any feedback that you have would be highly appreciated. Have fun when you are able to visit!

Thank you so much for posting. This is sweet, but I wish the ends had the giraffe head pointing down to the end of the twilly with the full length of the twilly being the giraffe's neck. That would have been so cute wrapped on a handle. It would have looked like an arched neck with the sweet face on the end. I will still buy a set of these, but I really wished the giraffe's head was bigger with its nose pointing at the end of the twilly.

Omg!

Some recent viewings. Took home jardin de soie cw06 (pictured) and légende du cheval à plumes cw03 (not pictured).

Sooo beautiful! This CW is the perfect red(@Redbirdhermes) and the mix of purples and blue is spectacular. Only downfall of this CW is that it each quadrant is ‘less defined’...as in they all kind of blend in when worn together compared to some other CWs which are different on each corner.

Brandebourgs Pointes cw07
Really nice with the black background and raspberry red hem. The yellow dots are pale but still yellow. If they were another colour, I may have taken this home.

Tapis de Selle cw06
For me, I think this design is the sleeper of the season. Design wise, it wasn’t even on my list, but it wears like a dream when folded. Waiting for another scarf in this same CW so will depend on the final CW for that scarf.

Toucans cw12
This scarf is gorgeous flat but sadly, a miss for me when folded. It’s ‘off my list’ but I think I’ll end up with the blue and yellow version to frame. DH usually rolls his eyes when I buy scarves to frame (“how many scarves can one frame?”) but he wants this one placed in his office. 98F8DFD4-C8E3-40F0-AAE6-264753636030.jpeg

Grand Tenue CW09 and CW15
09 is a contender on the list (waiting for one other CW). 15 is a classic and I want to take it home but it sadly does not fit into style.
