@tuffysfamily Thanks for sharing the additional CW photos of Foret. I tend to buy multiple cws of the same pattern because I fall in love with particular designs (fortunately it’s usually only one per season). Having the black and the white, I’m very tempted by the pink. I dont actually own a pink-background scarf right now (often H does pink with orange, which is a no for me. The only really pink 90cm I have is Mountain Zebra).

i actually love the gold/blue too, but I know it won’t work on me. I could totally see it looking amazing on you, @Ladybaga !
Thank you, NP! I think this colorway would be an interesting addition to my collex, so with your encouragement and Foxy-trinis's, this will be the one. I can totally see you in the pink one. That one, along with the white and black cw, will be magnificent with your coloring. I tend to gravitate towards the corals, peachy pinks, and mauves. I love how H makes something for all of us.

I posted more from her Instagram in her fan thread here so as not to detract too much from this seasonal thread. Wishing, hoping  that this will arrive soon in stores.
This is more my speed in colorways. Fingers crossed this will be transformed into a wearable piece of art! Thank you so much for posting this. It is soooooo pretty!!!!

Oh wow. I should have waited. Love the greens in this one.
I am dying to see the other CWs for this scarf, including whether this original drawing makes it in to a CW. I know there probably won't be another Alice Shirley piece for a while, but I think at the end of the day I won't purchase this one. I already purchased scarves in my two favorite CWs this season (gold/blue and botanica), and I won't repeat a colorway. I also have a lot of scarves with bird/butterfly motifs. Plus, I just bought the Les Leopards and have a Cosmographia 140 CSGM, so I think I'm covered on the cat front. I'm hoping that there is eventually a reissue of Into the Canadian Wild, although maybe that is a pipe dream and I'll need to go the reseller route :(. I love the Northern Lights and so that scarf would be perfect for me, unfortunately I wasn't collecting H scarves back then!

I love the way these guys are having a little get together. However, they’re not wearing masks nor are they social distancing. :P

The story behind
Placed on the horse's chest and belly, the straps are used to maintain the blankets appreciated during colder weather. The original design of this scarf created by Joachim Metz in 1985, has been revisited here. Without ever betraying the initial design, new plays of contrast and a simplified outline illuminate these carefully arranged riding accessories in a different way. Enhanced by a plain background, they wait patiently and gracefully for the rider or jockey to untie them.
