I’ve not had a chance to properly play with my Exposition Universelle scarf and experiment with knots.
I did want to quickly share a few shots of how cw03 looks with a few things I grabbed from my closet.

Looks great with pink and of course black.
The last photo is a green floral - jury is out on that one.

Dear MAGJES, these are all fabulous pairings. I adore the ballet pink stripes with it, and the polka/swiss dots. You can wear this scarf with all four outfits, for sure.

When stores were finally allowed to reopen here in Toronto, I went to Hermes and was really bad... My wallet slapped me silly and said no more shopping trips until Aug 1! But all of these pictures are making it really hard...But thank you, always helpful to see real life pictures and everyone's picks are beautiful! (Next week I'm going to call my SA and make and appointment for the first week of August! Oh the anticipation...
Happy H shopping, dear CanuckBagLover.

Scarf mail today. A few days ago a couple of colorways (16 and 17) of Promenades de Paris - 70 appeared on the Hermes US website for a few hours. Since CW17 was on my short list for AW2020 I pulled the trigger quickly. I'd love to get a couple more colorways of this design, but so far it hasn't appeared on the website again. My concern is that with the coronavirus acting as major world-wide disruptor, things might not be as available as they have been in the past. I hope Hermes can continue to widely distribute their scarves this fall.

I tried the scarf with a few different tops, including one of my winter sweaters. I think it is going to work just fine. It is a really pretty scarf.

Gorgeous, Redbirdhermes. Congratulations, and I’m getting closer and closer to buying this. It ties beautifully and looks so elegant. I just love it.

Ohh can’t wait to see the pink, it looks luscious from the website. When my boutique gets shawls in, I plan to go back and try them on. My top plumes picks are the red & the blue. I figure the red can work with grey, black, and tan/camel winter coats.

Please post pictures of the red Plumes 140. One reason I went with the blue was it appeared that the red could be a bit towards the orange side, and I prefer a red that is slightly towards the blue side. But, as is known, the H website pictures are unreliable for color.

Stopped by the Madison store and they had a few colorways of the exposition universelle. Only tried on CW 01 & CW 03. Ended up with CW 03!

Wow, wow, wow! That Exposition with the yellow arch is a new colorway. I’m trying to be patient since I’m sure there are more colorways coming, and so far I haven’t seen The One for me. Thank you for the pictures, and congratulations on your beautiful new scarf.

First time posting here . Just receive Promenades de Paris scarf 70. This is my 70 scarf, it's not stiff like the regula 90, and not as soft as the wash scarf. The design is decidedly fin de siecle, and the edge reminded me of the air mail envelope used in that bygone era. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but this old world charm is irresistible (to me) as a proxy of travel during this prolonged shelter-in-place suspensionView attachment 4798427View attachment 4798428.
I absolutely love this design and it’s old world charm. Congratulations, Babygrand8. From the tag, it’s that vintage silk, which is softer than twill. Not sure if it’s softer than wash silk, as I don’t own any wash.

@Redbirdhermes - saw this IRL and definitely skews towards an orangey toned red. It’s a beautiful bright red but I had to say no for the same reason as you. I’m hoping for CW09 but the background looks like a yellow tinged white which never works for me...so waiting to see it in person! Fingers crossed!

This just in...
La Legende de la Foret CW7: GB/GOLD/BLEU/NOIR
I snapped these pics immediately, so please pardon the blouse, which is not the best color to wear with it. I will post more pics later when I have a chance to play with it a bit

This CW is to die for! While I loved the colors, I wasn’t completely sold on the pattern, though I do need a “busy” in my collection. But when I saw your IG post with the artist link, I’m now smitten. She definitely has a distinct style and I hope Hermès adds her to the permanent artist rotation.
