First time posting here . Just receive Promenades de Paris scarf 70. This is my 70 scarf, it's not stiff like the regula 90, and not as soft as the wash scarf. The design is decidedly fin de siecle, and the edge reminded me of the air mail envelope used in that bygone era. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but this old world charm is irresistible (to me) as a proxy of travel during this prolonged shelter-in-place suspensionfullsizeoutput_43d8.jpegT1RbjpCbQpumrqOZU9%UpA.jpg.

Welcome, and thank you for posting pictures of your gorgeous new scarf. I had no idea that there was so much green on this scarf! The photos on the Hermes website look like it is beige in the interior of the scarf, instead of this lovely green. I'm wondering if this is what you see in person as well? Anyhow, this is absolutely gorgeous. Please enjoy this beautiful new scarf.

Once the word "retro" is mentioned, I'm a goner! Both are truly lovely moma, a tough decision for sure. I do agree with others that the design and scale of the teal one is very different from your Soiree de Gala. I suppose if you decide to only keep one, then the retro colorway perhaps fills a gap?

Thank you so much Magjes, this is very helpful!

Wow, another gorgeous unveiling of this amazing colorway, congratulations!

These are amazingly helpful pictures Magjes, thank you! Both such beautiful shawls!

Thank you so much redbirdhermes. I am definitely considering CW09 or CW10. I just need to be able to see IRL I'm afraid. The blue one is beautiful, but I do think I would potentially be bothered by the brown portions and the brown toned hem. You will love yours I'm sure!

So chic and elegant!
I do love dilemmas when the material is so beautiful!

I can't believe a teal Soiree de Gala was issued in such a pretty shade of teal and I didn't know about it.
IMHO, the way the toucans is draped there isn't a lot of teal evident. I would guess from your coloring Moma, that teal would be a nice color for you. (If it's not a teal year, then it's going to be a navy blue year, as a general rule, so grab teal while you can. I am holed up with a great stash of teal anything).
It's a great color, and fairly new to me. I used to avoid any version of green!

luscious in every tie variation!
The vieux rose, old rose, color in the first shot, and also in some of the following pix looks very close to me to be a cinnamon. I think of cinnamon generally as a pinky-brown fashion color. These soft colors are so terrific. (Who needs lime when they have vieux rose. Oops. I really didn't mean that:hrmm: ).
You should be b/c it looks great on you!
Thank you!
Fabulous! this CW really suits you!

This looks great on you!!

I like this one on you too!

I agree with @bunnycat I think you should keep the paler scarf, since the Teal Toucans is so similar to SdeG
That is *probably* what I will do, but you just never know!
I love the colours of this one. The olives with cream and rose
Right? Sooooo pretty
Looks really nice on you, thanks for sharing.

Sorry to hear that -- surely pretty scarves and bags would help cheer you up, even if you enjoy them in bed!

Thanks for sharing!

Yep. Want that coat.

What a lovely colorway! Hope you heal quickly and can play around with the know more.

I haven't heard anything about that, but who knows. I am allergic to cashmere, sadly, but I think 90cm can be a practical choice for many.

Actually, it works nicely with the blouse. Perfect CW for you.

Glad you were so decisive! Such a great look for you.

Looks amazing!

Thanks for sharing. This design is truly old school Hermes, especially when compared to some other designs this season.

I have had that happen  I just turn off the video and start playing with the scarves...

This teal is divine and is now on my to buy list! But man, what different colors from the website.

Great scarf, and you can still fit in your work dresses! Not sure I can...

Really surprised the teal is so similar. Usually they don't repeat shades of colors (at least not shades of red). Certainly makes sense to only keep one.

I don't hate it.

Great design for you I think, enjoy.

Congratulations on the new purchases!

Some of these CWs are rather nice actually...

It always surprises me that Europe seems to get scarves much later than the U.S. Never understand that logic.
I really appreciate your thoughts. And I am the queen of turning off the video. Then I write a lame excuse/apology

Have you resisted the Plumes in the 140cm cashmere/silk? I chose the deep pink!
Ohh can’t wait to see the pink, it looks luscious from the website. When my boutique gets shawls in, I plan to go back and try them on. My top plumes picks are the red & the blue. I figure the red can work with grey, black, and tan/camel winter coats.

Thank you so much for checking the color way. I love your Exposition and your Danse. You picked gorgeous colors. And then to get the Birkin was the icing on the cake wow. The Singapore in the blue color way was on the website last evening so I took a chance and ordered it. If it doesn't suit , may go up to the boutique and look for something else.
No problem at all! She replied, it’s colorway 4 for the la danse. Can’t wait to see your Singapore! I think when I first joined the forum others mentioned the slippery H slope. I have truly fallen and I can’t get up, but neither do I want to :). Have a great weekend !

Hi!! Crazy day yesterday, and didn’t take many pics at all because I was a bit distracted. Sorry for that, but here are my purchases, plus mini reveal of the surprise from my SA! A Birkin 30 in noir with GHW, I’m in heaven. ❤. Sadly no wild Singapore in store yet, that will finish off my list of 90cms for the season unless I add legende de la foret, I’m thinking about it but unsure.
