The story behind
Since its origins, the Émile Hermès collection has perpetuated the tradition of bringing together rare and atypical pieces. This is seen in compositions of real objects that allow us to appreciate their stylistic and typological variants at a single glance. It was one of these compositions, dated from 1923, that served as a model for this scarf on which dog collars are carefully arranged according to size or symmetry. A few years later, these adornments inspired the famous Collier de chien belt and eponymous bracelet. Florence Manlik's precise, meticulous hand, coupled with her undeniable sense of volume and material, create a piece of remarkable realism.

My La Danse see Amazones arrived today. It fills a gap in colors for me. One of the 2 or 3 I hope to acquire this season. (Excuse the lack of makeup and terrible tee. Just a few quick snaps between fedex and jumping back to work.)View attachment 4781862View attachment 4781863View attachment 4781864View attachment 4781866
I am obsessed with this scarf, worn it four days in a row, different knots, different colours showing. I love the cw you have chosen, enjoy!

i had a very quick trip to the boutique yesterday as they only got two of these and held them for me. Absolutely a no brainer for me although from the photo I wasn’t certain. legende de la foret. Loooove.

cant wait to see the jardin de soir CSGM and the legende du Cheval a plumes in person. also thrilled that they are reissuing some of the older designs.....lets get a Belle Époque and a Geishas, perhaps someday?
