The story behind
To design this scarf, Christine Henry immersed herself in the precious collections of the Musée des Tissus et des Arts Décoratifs in Lyon. Medieval tapestries, antique tunics and extremely rare screens have inspired this silk garden with its sumptuous bestiary. Byzantine animals, Chinese shrubs, Russian griffins and Indian foliage intertwine, celebrating the artistic exchange between East and West. Exchanges that have always encouraged textile designers to surpass themselves and demonstrate their inventiveness.

The story behind
During the Second Empire, the officers of the Imperial Guard wore sumptuous uniforms with Dolman jackets that were covered with frog fastenings. In 1972, Caty Latham designed a famous scarf inspired by this characteristic outfit, which is offered in a surprising reinterpretation here. By simplifying the original design with dotted lines, this new interpretation enhances the silhouette and decorations of this traditional costume which has continued to retain all its prestige.

The story behind
This Hermès classic, first issued in 1965, now becomes a contemporary giant. The new size showcases the finesse of these beautifully-worked pieces better than ever – the keys are inspired by models in the collections of Emile Hermès and the Musée Le Secq des Tournelles, in Rouen: a superb ensemble of antique fine metalwork. Forty-seven pieces are arranged in a circle around an embroidered purse. Each is authentic, each tells a story, each testifies to the extraordinary workmanship of the artisan silver- and goldsmiths who made it. One opened the doors of Notre-Dame, another was presented to the governor of the Low Countries, under the name Charles III. The bows (the rounded tops of the keys) take the form of lyres, or open books, arabesques or elaborate, intertwining scrolls, while the complexity of the web (the bottom part, designed to turn in the lock) hints at the importance of the secrets they protect.

I was having a closer look at the photos that @LadyCupid kindly posted and noticed the interesting hem of the ‘Les Bassets’ scarf. Can anyone with better eyes or more intel tell me more about it?

The 70s from this season all have hand rolled borders! I think it was mentioned by Angelian (sorry if I’m remembering wrong) earlier in this thread :)

I’m looking forward to seeing the other 70s for this reason. One of them should be Monsieur et Madame which has ribbons in its design - I think it would go well with the rolled borders detail!

If it hasn't already been posted I just saw some of the new season up on US H.com

ETA- I haven't been able to get any page to actually load so don't know if they are actually available or just pics.

@LadyCupid thank you so much for sharing all this information - it is great to see everything in on thread!
And thank you so much those who posted pictures of the purchased scarfs: I do fell in love with real colours of La Danse des Amazones!
Do I get it right that the only one unrevealed now is Photosynthèse by Théo Gueltzl? I wonder if anyone saw the design or knows its reference number?

The original version of this scarf was called 'Les Teckels' (dachshunds). Not sure why the re-issue is called 'Les Bassets', as it still depicts dachshunds and there are no Basset hounds to be seen.

Regardless of the title, I will have to get it in several CWs, I think
