But finally, I've landed on a scarf that truly made my heart sing! So here's my latest acquisition: Les Etalons men's losange in CW1. I can never resist a bright contrast hem! This dark grey CW goes super well with dark or grey neutral outfits, with the perfect punch of color from the red hem. Can't wait to wear it all winter long :heart:

This is really beautiful, the shades of blue on this scarf and the design kind of reminds me of Turkish porcelain, which I'm obsessed over.

I ordered the Jardins de Soie online and when I opened the box, the color was so much nicer in person than on the website. For me it was one of those instant, “Wow I really like this” moments. Of course, it’s so much better if you can see it in person at a boutique. Sometimes when I order on line, I think I’m going to love it, but when it shows up, it’s not the instant feeling. I hope I don’t sound insane!!

The Twill Up was fab- I saw it yesterday. Just as you say, its supposed to be a nod to "recycling and reusing", so they put 2 extra pieces of silk in the same color family together. Supposed to be 2 different designs, however the Piviones is the same ( different shades?). The boutique orders a color family, so they do not know what will appear. The blue Kimono one has a gorgeous design on the reverse- one that apparently will be out next year ( so its a preview!). I loved the way it tied 2-3 different ways- its not too wide at all. Unfortunately, the colors there just didn't work for me, but I am hopeful one will arrive that does.
I had gone to look at the Galaxy that was held for me, but the colors ( again) were IMPRESSIVELY bad on me! Oh well. I did find the men's scarf with leaves ( post number 137 FreddieMac) with a beautiful mushroomy/green background. Its gorgeous, but I am waiting to see the caramel one as well.

Hah! I missed bumping into you by a day! I’ll be back in the next couple of weeks - visiting far too often. But staying on topic - yes, reuse and recycle model. The first thing that popped into my mind re. the twill up was the Pétite H silk items - recrafting from existing remnants.

I might end up picking up the kimono one as well. And thank you for semi- confirming the reverse of the kimono. I couldn’t really identify the design but it’s quite atmospheric...right up my alley.

BdG CW10! Actually my first giant triangle and I’m trying to figure out how my SA folded it so when I put it on two little squares of BdG came together in the middle perfectly. In any case this CW is such a “my color” CW I decided that I’m going to learn a new format with it! Time to search the forum :biggrin:

Edit: I almost got through this season with just one CSGM (plumes) but...I am also thinking about the La Cite CSGM CW13 which I love, the only thing holding me back is that I already own the 90 in CW14 which is so similar except for that border. It's not too redundant because of the format difference right? .... right? (attached are the photos for them...)

To me not redundant because it Is a wonderful neutral and darker greys in the 140 and obv the border changes it enough for me to justify owning two. the 90 seems more ivory and ecru and the 140 more greys. I Love the neutrals of these the best because it Most looks like a vintage map.
