Of course not. You like what you like. I adore Hermes feathered scarves and have already purchased Les Perroquets on the secondary market, and would love another. Plumes and Toucans are very different designs, and these are completely different colors. Go for it.

Not too late - I love ALL the CWs of this design! Luckily I don't love a lot of the other designs, which might save my wallet.

Your collection is not likely to remain small for very long! Sorry to break this news to you, LOL.
A proper collection should reflect your passions and your interests, right? No one here will criticize anyone's choices. Feathers are gorgeous.

The majority ( 80% ) of my collection for years was different colours of the same design. Buy what you love, don’t worry about “diversifying” your collection. You will be the only one who notices this. Everyone else will think your scarf is beautiful.:flowers:

Agree, and thanks Momasaurus for revealing how great this colorway looks with white hair, if you don't mind me saying so! I like the luminous quality of certain whites, silvers, and grays now that my hair has grown "luminous" as well.

When you have a few scarves, even more so if they are special in one way or another, the fact that JdS is "useful" is probably one of the the highest accolades. A default scarf when we're in a hurry and don't know which to pick, or a scarf that can thrown on with anything (great travelling) is priceless.

I did see someone mention that they weren’t sure if it was “special enough” but it’s really a genius design that’s genuinely pretty and the colorways are VERY wearable...for me, there are a number of designs where none of the colorways work for me (im looking at you, Exposition Universelle). I also love the Lions in the corners.

by the way, Ive been asked a few times which colorway is my favorite and I have to say it’s the white. The black is the most versatile, but the white is my favorite of the three.

It is fabulous! Also my favorite design this season... my fav was immediately the white, but I couldn’t pass up the camel as it filled a gap... I am so impressed by the pink, though... Thanks so much for these wonderful pics!
