Hey everyone, checking in! This season I really fell hard for Legende de la Foret and wound up with three colorways - black, white and pink. I love the gold/blue and the red/white but they didn’t work on me. I have to agree with @tuffysfamily that it’s my favorite design of the season. I did see someone mention that they weren’t sure if it was “special enough” but it’s really a genius design that’s genuinely pretty and the colorways are VERY wearable...for me, there are a number of designs where none of the colorways work for me (im looking at you, Exposition Universelle). I also love the Lions in the corners.

by the way, Ive been asked a few times which colorway is my favorite and I have to say it’s the white. The black is the most versatile, but the white is my favorite of the three.

Adding just a few of the black and white, I know they’ve been posted before.

I also purchased the Jardin de Soie shawl in pink. I’m interested to see the black in person, but this was a no-brainer for me - goes with everything.

I LOVE this!!
I adore this design. I ended up with the white but I really love the pink as well......I need to re-home some pink scarves before I add more to my “pink drawer.”

I think we have the same taste. I generally prefer a more graphic shawl, but this caught my eye online and I was considering making an exception. I love all the folkloric imagery and this colorway is beautiful!

surprisingly, I only have one other predominantly pink scarf, Les Artisans, and the other colors in it are soft, so this one is useful to me.

The funny thing is that I love this shawl, but while I appreciate the design it isn’t amazing to me as much as useful. It’s cute and clever but to me it’s also a cross between Chasse en Inde and Pique Fleuri or Chemins de Garrigue. I bought it because this folds great and the colorway is perfect for me, AND it has that elusive “I won’t get bored with this design“ quality - which isn’t always easy for me to find in a shawl.

i dont know if if I have a particular preference for graphic or large or intricate - my favote designs over the past few seasons have been Legende de Foret, Cosmographia, Mountain Zebra, Les Artisans, and the reissued Kachinas wash. longtime favorites are Lalbhai and samourais. I know I don’t like big geometric (ta ta, Nathalie Pasqier) or odd layouts (Zouaves et Dragons). I think the most important things to me are “special” details (the butterfly front and center on Foret, the low key 24 Faubourg on Les Artisans) and stunning and useful color arrangements that you can see when it’s folded.
