Scarf mail today! La Legende de la Foret in CW12. This CW is gorgeous and IMO the golden yellow contrast hem really makes this one pop. I realize this has been posted, but I know I often appreciate as many modeling shots as possible when deciding on whether to order a certain scarf or not. Plus, I couldn't resist channeling the current H scarf models with my matchy-matchy denim jacket and pants LOL!! Oh, and I also fell for H pop earrings because so many of the models are wearing them in this seasons photos...Yikes!! I think they finally had someone tell them what online marketing is and that when you photograph and style things properly you can sell more *facepalm*

they still have some scarves on zombie girl tho...
I‘m also tempted by the earrings for the same reason hehe

Thank you for your kind words blydia...and I agree, finally having the scarves styled in a somewhat normal way is terribly enabling. The zombie girl does nothing for me! I will say that my denim "suit" if you will, is not from H, but I highly recommend the H pop earrings... they feel like nothing on, but add just the right amount of color or pop as the case may be.

The black outfits really set off the intricate multi-faced cw of this scarf. The colors of the scarf pop like crazy. With the off-white or cream jeans ensemble. the joie-de-vivre
of this colorful scarf doesn't come across as well. Maybe a pure white ensemble is something to consider? Or, buy a black tee and wear the jeans with it. (You didn't ask my advice but this scarf is startling beautiful with black).

Here´s the first one I chose. Kelly en Perles 140 wash silk.
My initial thought was that its way darker and more brown than I expected it to be and might look bland with my hair. But it keeps growing on me, I currently lean towards keeping it. It´s actually a very chic and beautiful neutral that´ll look good year round.
Also, I always seem to find issues with wash scarves and that one arrived just perfect..

Dear Missmythology, is the fabric more akin to summer twill or plume silk, or a regular twill? I have to admit I am a bit lost in H descriptions of the kind of silk used...

I agree with your expert analysis 100% eagle! I was just waiting for an opportunity to post with the denim ensemble because it fit with the AW2020 theme given that the mod shots on H this season have these denim ensembles to model the scarves. The denim is "coconut" so a cream with a yellow undertone, which looks great with some of my other scarves but not perfect with this one. This CW of La Legende de la Foret is really made for either black or pure white as you say. I look forward to wearing it with my primarily black top based wardrobe. Many thanks for your compliments!
