Eeeek! Please excuse the excitement, but I’ve just ordered my first ever shawl from the French site! Eeeek!

I will take photos when it arrives next week... I’m shaking all over!

I’m also very nervous because I have never spent so much on an item of clothing or accessories.

Eeeek!!!
Congratulations!!! Don’t forget to enthrall us with pics when it arrives. I have a soft spot for the shawls myself. I’m your classic plain tee (gap, jcrew, banana, Uniqlo pick one) and a gorgeous Hermes shawl type of lady. Statement sunnies and I’m off, (well face mask these days too). My personal philosophy has been to invest in accessories because I will wear those the most. My clothes I don’t get that obsessed over unless you’re talking jackets/blazers/ jeans, shoes - also examples of items I’ll rotate a lot. To each his or her own, and ensure you absolutely love it or send it back. Too pricey to be on the fence over it. Looking forward to your pics!

The Mega Chariot reminded me of Transformers too (back when I caught first glimpse of it!) Look forward to you sharing real life pics of both designs in the near future. :giggle: :graucho:

I shared it for Her-Mes here but forgot to do it for the 100cm. Per request, @papertiger has very kindly helped to add the story behind to both the silks you asked.

Thanks @papertiger! :flowers:
Awesome, thanks. Who designed Her-Mes? (Sorry if I didn't see this)

Thanks. I am actually talking to my SA again today. (She called just as I was trying to get a few emails out at the end of the day yesterday.)

I want to hear what their protocols are re: trying on scarves. If one can't try on in the boutique I will probably wait til they get one or two in that I know I want and then quick run in and out or have them sent. I definitely won't spend the usual hour or so I do there.

I will see if they have any from the new season in yet. I am waiting on the black promenades 70. I don't have any gavs in my collection, but there are two that have caught my eye.

There are a lot of beautiful scarves this season, but most of them are not calling my name (which is okay because I picked up a lot in the last two years).
Same here with not having a long list, but I do want a 70 Promenades. The black is on top of the wish-list! I miss the days of spending an hour playing with pretty new things and chatting and seeing what other people are playing with. Sigh.

Up on Canadian website here with the English version!

The story behind
Inspired by the design of the Folle Parade scarf: This young French illustrator creates her first scarf, expressing her whimsical world on silk. This Folle Parade, "an enchanting masquerade straight out of a toy box full of wonders", was inspired by an 18th-century engraving depicting a carnival float in Rome. Humor, fantasy, and a touch of madness emerge from this composition. The float in the center is surmounted by turrets and pulled by a disguised, masked horse. A multitude of strange and humorous sketches play out around the edges, with wheels, architectural features, masks, tortoises, men with animals' heads, and jacks-in-the-box all busying themselves, frolicking around in constant motion.
Thank you. Yes! At least they understand the proper plural of jack-in-the-box.
