It looks fine. I expect there is a leather tab sewn into a side seam instead of a made in label as this is likely a 'special purchase' which means it was made for sale in one of Mulberry's outlet/factory shops.

Thanks JazzyJay. The seller tells me that there is no leather tab sewn inside instead of the made in label. Is this a cause for concern?

Thanks JazzyJay. The seller tells me that there is no leather tab sewn inside instead of the made in label. Is this a cause for concern?

When adding additional info/questions etc, please always repost as stated in post #1, para 6 so we don't have to search bag. As advised, the bag is fine. There is often a label in the seam, but not always and if it is not there, it is not an authenticity concern in isolation.

Hi,

I purchased a Mulberry Continental Purse and it’s arrived and doesn’t feel or look quite right. It has also arrived with a card suggesting it’s Darwin Leather which I’m pretty sure it’s not.

My concerns:

Stitching is purple, my other oxblood mulberry products have a stitching in a colour that is less obvious.

Poppers say fiocchi Italy.

The inside mulberry stamp is not centred

The stamp is very gold - this was my immediate observation when I opened the box. It’s been a while since I got a brand new Mulberry, so perhaps my heat stamps have just faded by comparison.

The leather is soft and almost foamy. All my other mulberry purses do feel like this.

Any input very welcome. TIA 🙂
