Hallo all Mulberry experts, I'd like you to take on this vintage bag. I got it for free and with my newly gained knowledge I think it is a fake but lovely :) My question is rather if it is a "real" Mulberry model or just freely adapted from it. Thank you all in advance!

My main concerns is the lining, I haven’t seen anything remotely similar online with the leather flap the same as the outer leather & a piece at the bottom of the bag as well, again could be back of experience with the brand I know all bags seem to be lined different. Also the hardware is very gold, like a brassy gold again not sure if this is just the colour however I thought it was usually more muted. Finally the two prongs on the inside to adjust the straps are silver hardware but the rest is gold, I found that a little odd as well. The leather feels beautiful, really soft & very similar to a hard grain I have felt in store.

I have queried the seller for more pics; she has confirmed that there is no 'made in' label...

It looks fine. I expect there is a leather tab sewn into a side seam instead of a made in label as this is likely a 'special purchase' which means it was made for sale in one of Mulberry's outlet/factory shops.
