I can see you already tried to get more pics....not very pleased with sellers reply, though. At least she should provide clear, close-up pics of interior label/stamp and magnetic fastener...should be sufficient to determine whether it's a fake or not.

Hi there,

I've just bought an oak Somerset tote which I had checked out first (Lakrits thank you!). I have received it today and it does look real and it does smell real, if that makes sense. The only thing that just gave me a big shock - the made in label reads 'made in china'. So I'm just wondering whether atuhentic Mulberry Somerset totes have actually been manufactured in China as well? I would upload some photos, but for some obscure reason my photos are always much too large in size for this forum.

So yes, would really be great if you could let me know. I do have a sick feeling in my stomach right now because it really wasnt a cheap deal I got on this bag...

Don't worry - China, Turkey, Spain etc. is perfectly ok if everything else is good....I am quite sure Lakrits made the right decision. (My very own Mulberry Somerset shoulder was made in China).

Mulberry items are made in Spain, Turkey, China, Scotland, England and EEC. My Somerset tote was also made in China.
