Hi,
I recently posted a mail (1821, page 122 on this thread) to request your opinion on authenticity for the item listed below:

Item Name Roxanne
Item Number 190437801917
Seller ID we1975
Link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190437801917&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Jazzy Jay responded and said she would like to see inside label for this bag. As your opinions on here are greatly valued, I requested this information from the seller. The seller hasn't responded which is obviously not a good sign!
However, the bag is on an auction site and has a buy-it -now price. The seller only lives 2 miles from me so I am considering buying the bag but only parting with money when I can examine it throughly myself.
Can anyone give me any great tips for making sure the Roxanne is the real deal? What kind of things do I need to look out for?
I would really appreciate some help here please. Thank you x x

It takes more than one afternoon to get to know the Mulberry quirks...Mulberry tend to change details every now and then, and it's impossible to cover it all in a short answer, sorry!(not to mention to remember all the different details without seeing them....) If seller won't post more pics, I'd let it pass - to be on the safe side.

Hello, am totally new to Mulberry and wondered what you think of the below?

Item Name: Authentic Mulberry Rosemary (Baby Roxanne) Very Rare!
Item Number: 160474110329
Seller ID: scarli2007
Link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160474110329&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Thanks, really appreciate it

Welcome to the forum! I think it looks good, has "0" stamped - so from an outlet and may have a minor flaw. I wouldn't expect it to be visible on a used bag like this one, but you may want to ask seller about that?

On early models, like this one, there is no disc. They also have lined ears like the newer ones don't have.

Really? :amazed: All the Roxannes I've seen on this forum have the suede on the upper half of the ears. How old do you think this Roxanne is?

happypiano - Lakrtis is correct. Early darwin models may have lined ears, and may also not have a disc. Matt glove models (which the red one in that listing appears to be) virtually always have lined ears, and the same applies for the disc.
