Looks good to me, the official color for this Blake is Honey; the suede lining is turquoise -- just as beautiful. =)
This seller's Stams are definitely fake; all items were recently removed by ebay, they are back up again.

Thanks bag.lover. I'm too scared to bid if she sells fakes too. Interestingly, the description for the Blake includes the wording "absolutely authentic" and in the Stam description, the word "authentic" is not used (but implied, of course). Such scam artists!

Thanks again!

I just asked this at tFS, but I need as many opinions as possible.

Is this one fake or authentic? I really have no clue about the MJ bags since I've never even seen one IRL. I was looking at the one DGJEANS are selling, and the hardware on this one seems more shiny - fake?

Black Quilted Stella on eBay
DGJeans is selling the Icey leather version of this bag, the one that you are referring to is the soft calf version. The hardware maybe be different for both, the icey is suppose to have the antiqued hardware. The quilting matches up well for your auction, and the details look good. The only thing I would request for peace of mind is the interior pocket's fabric tag and a better photo of the Lampo zip. The flash makes it difficult to see the Lampo engraving.

Not sure if Quilted Stella was produced for more than 1 season. For F05 or A/W 05 (can't remember; debut of Stam), I believe antique hardware was used for quilted styles (Stam, Venetia, Stella) in both nappa and icy leather. If I am wrong in any way (season/year/detail), please correct me. There are always new details to pick up on. =)

In one of the auctions (the bordeaux) it says it's from 2005, and in the auction for the black one it says 2006..

You know what? I think I'm going to wait and see what I find in London when I go there in November. This is getting frustrating. Hehe! ;)

Thank you so much to those who have helped me! <3

For the Black Quilted Stella you inquired about, the listing says it features soft nappa quilted calf leather in black, burnished, antique brass hardware, chain link straps with 10” drop length, royal burgundy soft suede lining, ....

I'm not familar with this seller (luxnet200), waiting to find it in London sounds safer. =) I notice that sellers often get the years mixed-up.

Oh, members mentioned this bag being very heavy (the chain & hardware).

When looking at these bags, make sure the color combination is correct (leather, stitching, hardware, suede lining).
Fall '06 Emerald: navy blue suede lining, shiny gold hardware
Cruise '05 Emerald: green suede lining, silver hardware

Fake Emerald Venetia (silver hardware & red suede lining)
eBay: Auth. Marc Jacobs 2006 Venetia Emerald Green Handbag (item 160022738239 end time Aug-28-06 10:38:46 PDT)

Maybe we should resurrect that old thread and update it with this fall's combinations?? It looked like it was a good idea.
