I'm so sorry that happened to you. I think you should still go and try to get a return, the worst they can say is no. Or, if you paid with credit card within 180 days I believe, you can file a fraud report. Check with the CC company you used, you still might be able to get something back. Good luck! Let me know how it works out.

Nola, sooooo sorry to hear that. Hope your CC comany can help you.

That´s the worst thing, I paid with cash since we were there for a day on a holiday and that was the money I had changed to kronos. My entire holiday budget went on the bag and purse. The tags on the bag even had the black string which the authenthic ones have and the dustbag. I don´t judge people who buy fakes intentionally, but when I was looking for the real deal it makes me so mad that they would make a fake with the right details plus that it cost so much. I´ve been trying to call the store since their number is on the receipt but I haven´t gotten anyone on the phone. What a surprise.

That's how the these awful sellers get their money, they trick honest hard working people. I hope for everyone they went out of business, although that would present a big problem for you. Never ever buy a handbag without a credit card. Please keep calling!

If I ever have money for another one, I will definetly order from net-a-porter or check an ebay item with you guys first. I´ve been calling all day, no answer.

Is it just more or does the metal plaque have the spacing and font wrong for Marc Jacobs? I don't know about the black made in italy tab, I saw another style bag with it sewn in like that and it was a fake... I would stay away.

Thithi, you have good eyes, I didn't catch that at all. I'm not sure about the spacing/font b/c I never paid attention to all these little things since I bought mine at department stores here. Gosh, there are so much details to learn, I'm learning....

Before posting, I checked my Linen Blake to see if it has the MADE IN ITALY leather tab inside the pocket; my metal plaque has both MARC JACOBS (1st line) & MADE IN ITALY (2nd line). I didn't rule it out at first, kept thinking that details can vary from season to season.

Nola, I am so sorry. It seems like there are con artists everywhere trying to take our hard earned money! I know I have been wondering about some of the purchases I made before finding the purse forum. Ignorance is bliss. Thank goodness for TPF and the helpful authenticators out here.

As you may or may not know I'm looking for Blake, but I saw this Quilted Venetia that caught my eye..Do you think it's real or fake?
