Hello Everyone --

I have been browsing ebay looking at quilted venetias and was wondering if anyone can help with authentication signs. I know price is obviously a big one but what about hardware? the quilting itself, etc. I checked out vogue1966's page but she doesn't seem to have much info on the quilted bags.

SnapDragon: I don't think so. First of all, I don't think MJ had a color called "Sea Green". The bag looks exactly like Peacock Blue but I didn't think the Blake came in that color. Second, she's got a fake Paddy and I'm sure more fake bags but I didn't look through all her stuff.

Thanks Daisy! you're so good at this!! I'm so gullible and never think to properly check out the seller.

Shame though. Even though I don't know what the reserve was, and therefore how much the fake would have cost, I actually quite like the green colour!

I am definitely not an expert in authenticating bags, but this Blake looks fake. The pushlock closures are always covered nicely, not like the ones depicted in the pictures at all.

i would ask the seller to give you pictures of the zippers (side of the zipper and the underside) as well as a close-up of the pockets and inner metal plate first.
the color of the bag and inner suede look good though.
