You can just do a search on tPF of younglabels and see all of the coments about her as a seller.

Like I said before ~ I have never heard of any issues with her and have had perfect transactions before ~ but they were COACH.

I am very pleased that she has responded here (thank you!) and I can say that the seller she acquired the wallet from (pinchrosemary) is also a respected seller. But again - bad things can happen to good people. KWIM?:shrugs:

telicious we very much value your opinions on MbMJ here and there is never harm in being cautious.

I hope this works out for all parties involved.

Thanks forenfinal, I really appreciate your comment.

I never heard of younglabels or pinchrosemary before, not that it would make any difference in my opinion, but it's good to know they are respected sellers. It's hard to authenticate items and not affect those sellers whose items we deem as fake.

Either way, younglabels has sent me additional photos, however I still believe this clutch is a fake. If anyone noticed, MbMJ started using a different design for the Turnlock line (Teri, Faridah, Wallets, Coin Purses, etc.). Prior to Spring 2008, there wasn't that extra second stitched line (for lack of a better word) as shown here:

The design of the clutch is from Spring 2008/Fall 2008, but the hardware is clearly from Spring 2007, making me believe that this clutch is fake. Also, black was never released until this season (Fall 2008), and the hardware is shiny silver and the color is called Nero, not Black.

Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted to make it clear in what way I concluded that the clutch was fake.

Here is the link to the auction in case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200241147225&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Sorry I'm late (did you end up winning it?) but I would definately need to see the inside lining and the zipperpulls to be sure.

no, i didn't. but i noticed the seller sold two of the same bags recently...and it's one of my most wanted. i just wanted to see if the seller was legit

thanks so much for getting back to me! can you authenticate the one i posted earlier with the pictures also (the dark brown bag)? thanks in advance!

Thank you.

I apologize publicly to telicious for my offending words. Upon review, they were harsh and I was defensive and less than professional. I do respect her opinion, but I also ask that she review all the additional information and photos I emailed her earlier today. Perhaps she is working and cannot access the public album or tPF from work. Her initial statement giving thumbs down to this wallet said the logo was messy. It is not. She did not ask for the style number or for additional photos including those of the inside tag, retail tag, back of the hardware, etc. Secondly, she asked for the item's source not knowing Pinchrosemary. If indeed she needs that information to authenticate, I will just do my best to deal with that on a professional level.

As I said in my PM, no need for apologies. I understand your point of view as a seller and it's hard not to step on any toes when you're authenticating items.

My initial reaction to the nameplate is that the letter are way too thick and dark (I guess I should have been more clear) when all the MbMJ items I've seen or owned have very defined and thin lettering. My opinion on the wallet was solely from the photos that were given and they were more than enough for me to make a decision. I do not know MbMJ item numbers nor do I think that is required for authenticating because the item numbers are only on the hang tags. And like I said in my post above, I didn't know who Pinchrosemarie was and even now that I know, that does not affect my decision in any way.

Either way, the item has ended, I still stand by my opinion with regards to this item from the reasons I posted above. I'm still interested to know where this item was purchased from just for curiosity's sake.

Telicious, please know we value your help here immensely! Your knowledge of MBMJ far surpasses any of us here on the board. Please continue to help and input your advice.

And as for pinchrosemary, I know she has a very good reputation, but I've seen fakes from trusted consignment ebay sellers and department stores before. No one is 100% safe from selling a fake!

Thank you thithi, I really appreciate it!:shame:
