Is this authentic? Is the color Grass Green? I'm thinking of posting in the Ebay deals/finds thread if its the real deal. ;)

Update:

I actually really like the er, um as some may describe it "dooky-green" :s color of this, anyway I asked for pics of the MII stamp and the seller says she can't find it.

Any other thoughts? (other than those already shared)

:roflmfao: I didn't do the pinky swear. Maybe that's why she just hasn't responded to my questions:shrugs: Then again, maybe she just hasn't been on the computer... We shall see:smile1:

I asked her for pics because
"We can't trust based on 100% feedback, sellers who sell fakes often have 100% as well.
It is not worth our time and trouble. At the purse forum we say, if the seller won't provide authentication pics we DON'T BID".

this is the reply i received-

"If you don't want to bid, then don't bid! if you know your authentic handbags then it shouldn't be a problem right... and yea, i do pinky swear... loser!

- jusu16"

I guess I was too harsh. Lots of sellers are ignorant to the proliferation of good fakes, and i have been getting fed up with 50% of sellers denying me pics or not responding!
She could have no clue that it sucks for us to waste our precious time with a fake. Even if the seller says "2x your money back if not authentic" it still takes time to remedy the situation!

Are you guys numb to dealing with silly sellers? (cause i'm not )

her response was SO not cool, and uncalled for. I'm not numb to silly sellers, it's always a bummer when something you really want doesn't work out. And when sellers respond to me the way they did to you, it does hurt a little bit, even though it's not personal [they don't know me]. I'm always able to make myself feel better because karma will soon come back and bite them in the a$$... I shall elaborate... haha. [this is what i tell myself]

If sellers are not inclined to help buyers, then whatever, i won't be inclined to make my purchase with them. Eventually word will get around tPF and they're done for. [maybe i'm exaggerating, but it WILL come back to bite'em somehow some way!]

It's funny though, because most of the time, I'm willing to BIN, and when they don't send me pics [additional, for peace of mind even though i can tell it's pretty much authentic (thanks to lovely TPF'ers)] i always watch to see what the going price was. The price so far has always been a few hundred lower than the BIN that I was willing to pay!

I can only imagine them kicking themselves...

anyway, hugs! :hugs: because sometimes, people just really suck!

Honestly, a seller can make so much more money by providing good pics and answering questions politely in a timely manner... Just because it's the internet doesn't mean you don't provide good CS. You can still lose a sale when you don't help a potential customer.

I have got first hand proof of this. Recently when I was on holidays I would search for clothes (mostly dresses) that were being advertised very very poorly and bought them extremely cheap. A week later I relisted them and spent those few extra dollars on including extra photos and answered all the questions I received in detail and i made well over 100% profit on what I had paid for the items. So by the seller being abrupt and rude they are shooting themselves in the foot. Their loss for being ignorant.

Just as a follow-up, I had asked for a pic of the underside of the zipperhead and she emailed to clarify what that meant and then followed up with the following:

"hi,
i found it :)... the brand name of the zipper says riri M8 on both zipperheads on the bag and on the zipperhead for the interior pocket it says riri M4... i'll try to post pics if it comes out. thanks!!!"

Maybe she felt guilty about her response to you, but like people were saying, karma...while she was perfectly courteous to me, her response to you was completely uncalled for (especially the name calling part!) and I'm taking this one off my watch list. Sorry you had such a rude response!!

This is so true - I once found a poorly-listed pair of MJ boots and won them for $50! When I got them, I wore them once and decided the 4" heels weren't for me, so I listed them on ebay with good photos and a good title... and sold them for over $350!
