thank u so much please let me know asap =)

the bag is from his marc by marc jacobs line, these were all over the place at my local nordstroms rack last spring, so it's most likely from about a year or two ago. it is authentic, but they were heavily discounted so dont pay more than $60 bucks for it. it is authenitc.....most (if not all) of the marc by marc jacobs line are authentic, as fakers dont bother with the lower priced bags.

hi everyone,

i'm wondering if this MJ bag is real. Unfortunately there are no pics of the back of the zippers. thanks in advance!

eBay: Marc Jacobs Brown Leather Quilted Chain Handbag NWT (item 140051998142 end time Nov-18-06 13:53:38 PST)

real...ooooooooooh i want this one! they did it in three different sizes the first time around (with the stam bag) there was the regular "stam", the medium, called the "baby stam"(which hilary duff is often pictured with) and then this one, the "east/west clutch". they continue to make the medium, but not this size.

What does everyone think about this one?
eBay: Authentic Marc Jacobs Bronze Stam Bag w/ Receipt $1275 (item 200047499480 end time Nov-23-06 18:33:37 PST)

I feel that I am pretty good at authenticating most MJ bags, but the Stam is still a mystery to me. This price on this bag seems too low, but it DOES have some wear and tear. The seller's other transactions look legit - she just seems like someone who sells a lot of gently used bags. I don't know what to think! Anyway, more trying to educate myself than buy this bag, so feel free to list signs of fakeness if you see them!:flowers:

it looks real but i would be VERY weary of buying from this seller because of their feedback, the crappy pics (how come some are totally in focus and well li, and others look like they were taken in some candlelit basement????) AND ALSO BECAUSE THE BRONZE STAM HAS SOME MAJOR ISSUES WITH THE METALIC RUBBING AWAY AND OFF!

IF YOU WANT BRONZE, BID ON THIS ONE:eBay: 100% AUTH MARC JACOBS GLD QUILTED STAM HANDBAG $1295 (item 170050043754 end time Nov-19-06 18:00:00 PST)

A few days ago, I received a stam that I had ordered for my younger sister off eBay since it was cheaper, the seller said that it was second-hand, and it seemed to match all the right requirements (including the riri zippers, etc.) I wanted her to stop feeling so bad about me getting my own stam so I bought it off the seller.

After looking at my new original black stam that I bought for $1,000+ from the States, however, and the $400+ one from eBay, I really thought it was original because everything seemed identical (although the smell of the leather was slightly different and her interior was a mauve/maroon type of color, while mine is cream).

Then I took a look at the bottom of the bag in comparison to mine and realized that my bag has a perfect alignment of diamonds, but hers doesn't have them perfectly aligned. The diamonds are offset from each other.

Is this justifiable to determine that the bag is a fake? If so, I will immediately tell the seller to refund my money. I'll feel bad about my sister winding up with nothing, but I think that's a better deal than getting screwed by someone off eBay.

This is the problem with buying off eBay, the doubts just DO NOT end at all regardless of the price. Thank God I can hug my own stammie knowing he came from the right home.

Please help. Thanks!

LYO :o)

if you can provide the auction number, i can authenticate it for you, assuming it has clear pics. :flower:
