^If you have a link to the auction, I'll see if I can help you out. I don't think you can pass judgement on a bag because of the bottom seam. It's been mentioned before in the forum that 05 stams don't necessarily align at the bottom. Some of our members noticed that their stams didn't have perfect bottoms and purchased theirs at reputable dept stores.

I've seen a few stores make certain permanent marks on bag to prevent returns. Nordstrom Rack for example, use to punch a stud above the plaque. When I saw the hole in this auction that was the first thing that came to mind, but I didn't mention it because it may not necessarily be true for this particular bag. I've also seen X's next to the plaque(Saks I think), crossed out MJ logos, and SKU numbers written in the interior pocket to prevent returns.

I called them last week and they still had two or three of the Blakes there. I think it would end up being cheaper than eBay.

Good luck! I wish the Blake's handles were just a TEENY bit longer for me to carry it on my shoulder...it's such a great bag. :)

Hi, THITHI, Could You tell me please how it is about authentic ELISE BOSTON because on Marc Jacobs site they have very wrinkly texture of the patent but when I see picures of celebrities carrying this bag it isn't look so wrinkly, just like this which Paris carry. Thanks.

Try calling the stores as Dawn suggested, this is your other resort. It seems like the seller got it at some Off Saks & would like to make a little profit (not that there's anything wrong with that). =)

For those of us who have seen (and/or owned) authentic bags from this line in real life, they have soft and wrinkly leather. Paris Hilton's bag is authenic, some bigger & better pictures would show the texture better.

Sure. Some of the things I noticed are the leather is very stiff. Also the top portion is overly misshappened. The price point is too low. The hardware is way too shiny. The Marc Jacobs plate is not in the right font. I could probably keep going.

No problem! Another thing I noticed is that the seller sells a lot of sexy lingerie and has those as public auctions. But she has a lot of private auctions as well. It makes me think she's hiding something.
