Doesn't look right to me... Patent Elises are hard to come by on ebay. This particular one doesn't have the right leather texture and the zipperhead is wrong. Interesting to see that fake bags have the MJ bifold card.

That Zoe is not the same shape as some of the ones that I have seen. The zipperhead is not rounded either, has kind of a pointy head.

thithi thanks! i didn't think it was real either...but i wasn't 100% sure. the leather was wrinkly, m=but it didn't seem like the right wrinkly, if you know what i mean. could you elaborate on the zipper head shapes? or direct me to a thread or post number so i can learn??? thanks a bunch!

Fake Ursula styles are very easy to spot. Since Elise's release in Spring 06, I have seen less than 5 Elises (2 from tPFers & 1 from LeBagBoutique) that are totally authentic. J3M, check out this thread:

^A real stam would never sell for a little over $200, so I am going to go with Fake. The seller has not provided clear pictures so I cannot see the nameplate, but the zipper pull look off to me. I would not go for this.

^ Shushop, if your budget allows, go for Dark Indigo Blake. I don't like green and brown (like dark/rich chocolate though), I'm passing this Blake b/c suede lining and stitching are green.

Honestly, I think $500 (plus some) is a great price for brand new Blake/Venetia/Stella in rare colors. If I have a choice, I rather pay more for new bags than used ones so that I don't have to send them to professional leather expert to get them cleaned. My local repair expert charges at least $80 (estimated price) for each item, I'm told by Nordies/Tod's/Chanel managers that they do an amazing job.

I have decided to get the Black ZB (on hold for me) from MJ store, my b-day is in December so this is my early b-day gift. =)
