I posted this listing before, but was having trouble getting seller to send pic of zipper pull. Well, after pulling my bid from lack of communication, seller finally sent picture. Will you please look at this listing, with the added picture, and see if you can tell if it's authentic? Thanks.

Hi ladies ...

I consider myself an LV buff, but I'm a little perplexed by this LV Petit Bucket... My little sis bought it on Ebay, and it looks great and all, but the interior leather piece which says "Made In USA" has odd looking stitching... It isn't even, and there are 12 stitches accross the bottom under the wording instead of the usual 11... Please tell me what ya'll think... I included a couple of pics of that, and a few others too...

TIA

Those pics are aweful... The seller needs to change the setting on her camera, or put the bag in good lighting and not use the flash. She needs to provide the following pics - and also post them on her auction:

* Clear photos of the hardware
* Photo of the heat stamped date code
* Photo of the interior leather piece which reads: Louis Vuitton Paris, Made in France
* Close up photo of the front and underside of the locking top clasp
* Photo of the interior zipper pull

I know this sounds like a lot to ask, but she is selling a bag which could be worth a little or a lot, depending on the photos. I would also ask her what she means by "a strong leather smell". Fake leather bags often have a really strong odor - more of a chemical smell, but I've heard of replica sellers claiming that was just the leather.

Ohhhh...kay...........I didn't bid:tdown: After my last boo-boo (fake) of not authenticating first, I was a good girl this time. I know there will be another one someday if I am patient.:okay:
BTW, the seller of my fake scarf purchase earlier is supposed to refund once he receives the return. He said he had it authenticated so it slipped through on him, I guess.

NO pics = NO buy

Well, I can see why it didn't sell... There are no photos whatsoever that can determine authenticity. At a glance any bag can look great, but you really close up pics of the details... This person has sold authentic pieces in the past, and if they re-list this item, I would ask for pics of:

* the leather pieces which attach the handles to the bag, and the brass studs on those pieces

* Close up of the date code heat stamp
* Close up of the zipper pull
* Close up of the lock and keys
* Photos of both sides
* Close up of at least one Cherrie
* Photo of the pocket opening for the stitching

Good luck :p
