Oh wow, its like a mix of new and old. Weird, I'm thinking its either a prototype, or fake. If I see one like that at the sample sale, I'll let you know, since prototypes pop up at it.

I'm sure it's a sample - the seller has another LAMB (Ceylon line) that has the "Sample not to be sold" tag in the pictures.

Weird! Maybe they were toy-ing around with bringing back old sig prints in the newer lines. (how I wish!)

Someone posted on lamb_clothes that the Daly checker pump was coming back, but in a new way.

I was totally thrown off by the whole old/new thing. I love the camel checker print but not the yellow plate they put on it. Maybe if they had gone with the black.

Could be a sample...? They could have removed it I suppose but in the pic it doesn't seem as if anything was there before.... Interesting.

Could you post a pic of the complete front or back of the bag? It's sort of at an angle, I would like to see the font a little clearer

That LeSportsac is authentic...its a sample. The sample bags didn't have tags inside. A friend of mine has a sample lamb print first season band bag and there is NO tag....
