There was a yellow artsy bag with black trim up on eBay at one point... I assume that's the one Clarity saw too.

Yes Barbie, that was the one I saw! Not the all black artsy, but the yellow with black handles and name plate. It was gross! I will try and track it down again...

i'd say the white one is fake and the black one is real. What does it say on the zippers? (it should say ykk, if it doesn't than it's definitely fake...but if it does it could still be fake) Do the fabrics feel the same? Can you take a picture of the inside tags?

I agree with Jillian. The white one definitely looks fake. The rip-stop nylon that LeSportsac uses is supposed to be silky smooth and fine. The material in photo002 looks more like cheap coated canvas. You're not supposed to see grooves like that (even when photographed up close like that). Also, if you have an excellent eye, you can see that the font spacing is totally wrong from the authentic ones.

I confronted to ebayer about selling me a fake one and she got all pissed. I told her that the lesportsac label looked odd and that the label says its a black lesportsac and it's obviously a white one. she hasn't responded. here is her last response:

The purse is not a fake. I purchased it from Bloomingdales, so unless they sell fake purses - it is 100% authentic. I have been selling on ebay for almost 10 years now and have never sold a fake item, and really do not appreciate being accused of doing so. The bag was from my personal collection, I'm not a mass seller of handbags or of L.A.M.B. items. If you want I can take a picture of all the L.A.M.B. bags I have, so you can see I'm a collector not a fake handbag maker. I'm not sure why you think the item is a fake when it has all the original tags attached. The item was in perfect condition when it was shipped, so I am unclear on how it became dirty in it's packaging on its way to you. I'm sorry that you are unhappy with the item, but rest assured it is not a fake. I would NEVER do that.


btw on the black purse the all the zippers say ykk but also say usa, that's why i'm confused. On the white purse only one zipper says ykk.

Just because the seller has a lot of lamb does not mean that it's not a fake. When I first started buying lamb, unfortunately I bought some fake lambs because i didn't know any better I don't use them, but it makes me sad to think that i spent all that money on fakes.

Are there zippers that do not say YKK?

How long ago was this auction?

on the white purse only the 1 outside zipper has ykk on it. on the black purse all the zippers say ykk on one side and usa on the other. will post pic of charms in a few.
