Hello, I haven't purchased yet but I'm strongly considering. I'm convinced that this is authentic and the seller is sending me more pics tonight but I just want to be sure. I took this snapshot off my phone. Let me know what you think. Thanks =)

I don't have this charm so can't help, maybe someone will come along that has an authentic one.
But I will say that there have been two Mermaid charms on ebay for weeks, and they have not sold, which usually means they are overpriced.

Thanks for your response. I've seen the eBay mermaid prices. This one isn't on eBay it's a private transaction I'm considering to make. She said she originally purchased it on eBay several years ago but is selling her charms now. She's giving me a great deal on this one. Once she sends me more pics I'll post them. From what I understand the mermaid's supposed to look like, her's seems to fit the picture. I'd Loveeee to own the mermaid charm. So pretty! =)

It would be great if you could get a good deal on it. The fake mermaid is almost exactly like the original, so please wait for someone to authenticate it to save yourself a problem. If you search the regular charm thread you will find a few mentions of the mermaid charms and discussions of the fake charm. Since there's no photo of the mermaid charm in the reference thread, you can compare photos with those on the Charm Candy blog.

I checked the sellers other charms, and I don't recommend buying from that seller.
Also, as a general rule we don't recommend buying from overseas sellers because if something goes wrong, which often happens, it's difficult and expensive to ship the item back and prove delivery for reimbursement from Paypal.

I cant really say at all. My first hunch is that the first one is a fake. I find it VERY hard to believe that they kept the tags for a USED bag all that time..

I can't say because I don't know Juicy bags well enough, but I will say I keep ALL my designer bags tags. When I take them off I put them in an inside zip pocket, or the dust bag in an envelope, this goes for Coach bags I've had for over 15 year, so...
