Just got this charm in the mail, I'm worried it isn't authentic. Looks like the darker parts between the legs and in the ears is sharpie marker......... http://www.ebay.ca/itm/200647908345...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_3071wt_1141

Thanks!

I also compared the clasp to all my other authentic charms and this one seems to be a little smaller when I compared them at a side view. Can the clasps vary in size?? I tried to take really close up pictures but my camera won't focus that close.

i have pictures of mine in the reference thread and mine was purchased from jc boutique so mine is authentic... also i've noticed some of the clasps are shaped rounder or weird sometimes so that is not always a tell all but when that happens i return them to JC because they don't fit onto my bracelet easily at all. all the older ones however are all completely the same (for mine at least). in the photo reference thread my cat is on the last or second to last page i think.

also, buying with tags is well worth the extra money for peace of mind, especially while you are still new to collecting. eventually you will be able to look and just automatically think something looks off but until then try to buy with tags... the cat especially is very new and i got mine for $15 so it should be a decent price with tags...

I can't help with this charm, but this trusted seller is selling two cat charms and has detailed photos of the charm, so compare yours to these photos.

Katierose, can you help me with these charms as well??

Thanks so much!!

Those listings have ended, are these charms you've already bought?
If so take photos when the charms arrive, the closer the better and from different angles.
IMO, it does little good to study the sellers poor photos, because they may send you an entirely different charm. If you need help posting photos check the Feedbox Dropbox board, they have instructions and a practice board there.
In the mean time you can check the charms Reference thread, there's photos of 99% of the charms posted there (do a search), I always do this before I buy older charms. HTHs

Yes they are charms I already bought. I will compare to the pics when they arrive.

Thanks!!

Appreicate anyone commenting as to whether this is authentic. The seller can't locate the box so I don't know the code and I've tried to search online to find a comparison but nothing is coming up.
