Yes, salerno182 mention the shipping cost so I had to go check it out and for the cost of the shipping, you could buy a plane ticket to Jimmy Choo London, buy a bag and have a really nice meal:tup:

I emailed the seller of the $4000 bag...well $4300, if you include the cost of the bag. She said her shipping was a mistake and that it is $40. I checked the auction and it was corrected. Well at least we all got a laugh!

This bag looks authentic. Seller says she is a tPF member. The only thing I don't like is she keeps hers listings private. This doesn't necessarily mean anything, tho. Contact her and ask her why and what her tPF name is.

I am a newbie to the Jimmy Choo world, and have no idea how to authenitcate them. I can spot a fake Fendi spy from a mile away, but I don't know where to begin with JC.

Are there specific threads that go over authenticating features or should I just read through the posts in this thread?

I'm so sorry. It does not look good. The pics are not very good, but from what I see it does not appear authentic. You need to file a claim with e-bay and paypal (you did pay with paypal?) Contact the seller and let them know politely that you think it is fake. The Gold metal nameplate on the front has the Jimmy Choo name too low. It it always centered between the raised rivets. Go to JChoo.com for authentic pics or look at the pics of tPF members in show your bags thread.:crybaby:
