could you be so kind as to have a look at this choo and tell me your thoughts on authenticity? It has a Nordtrom tag, but that doest mean much these days im afraid, and i got it for real cheap - almost TOO cheap...

Sorry, JLC, but your bag is a shameless fake, and has no pretensions in even trying to copy features of any authentic Choo style past or present. Take a look at Treesje - it looks like one of their styles.

The big question for me is: this is a new release bag, so why would anyone sell it for $675, regardless of how they acquired it, when they should be able to find someone who would pay more, if it's genuine. I have the chalk perforated Bree and the details on yours are very good. I don't have a Bardia, but have looked at them at JC boutiques. The leather ones have the stitching going through the tabs and the leather, but the seam is on the side. I did look at a perforated goldy-beige Bardia at JC, and unlike the leather ones, the front had a seam behind the tabs on both sides, which your bag is missing (your bag is sewn like the leather ones). Based on the price and the placement of the seams, I would say it's fake.

Also Mowcam, I can't tell from the resolution on the e-bay photo, but it doesn't look like it's there. The upper portion of your inner handles should be in perforated leather, not the flat leather than is on the inside above the zip.

If it is the same one the seller bought on ebay a few days ago, then it does look authentic to me. I would ask for a clear closeup of the lilac nameplate and the gold plaque on the front of the bag. Also a clear close up of the Choo name on the bracelet. Note, the seller only paid $413. for this bag so they may be trying to make some money on it.
