I believe this clutch is authentic. I have this one in red snakeskin, it was from 2007. BTW, the name of that style is Ciggy. It was originally about $1300.00

Hi People, I'm quite new on the forum and want to buy a Jimmy Choo bag for my Mum's B-day. I have a genuine one myself and I think this one is authentic as well but can you guys please advice me on this?

The auction on the Jimmy Choo bag endend and I got outbid in the last hour. I'm glad happy with that as I somehow didn't trust this bag to be genuine. I asked the seller the following question:

"The metal/enamelled Jimmy Choo label inside the bag sits on a leather piece that is stitched to to the inner pocket. On that piece of leather below the metal/enamelled Jimmy Choo label there should be some embossed characters. Can you tell me what is there please?"

On my genuine Tulita bag it says Made in Italy and I couldn't see it on the pic's she provided. So never responded to my questions so I was quite pleased that I didn't win the item. I think I might give my Mum a voucher for a Jimmy Choo item ;-)

Well I'm still interested whether this bag was genuine, so if anybody has any ideas? Love, Baggal1983

Hard to tell from the pics provided. I am leaning toward authentic, tho. This bag is at least 5 years old, tho. Not from last year.
