I am new on this forum, but from what I read about labels and silk, I would venture to say this is unfortunately fake. There are apparently very few Vintage scarves with a brown label and usually its done on a brown scarf I think. have a look here:

An authentic scarf feels like the silk is so luxurious, thick yet supple, versus thin, anemic. It makes a sound like no other silk when you fold it to wear.
I would return it quickly to the seller and notify ebay... But this is only my opinion... Take care.

brown labels are very common for scarves of the 2000s ... and there is no clear rule when H attaches a white, brown or black label. I have seen many combinations, which I found weird ...
as mistikat and myself have pointed out earlier, the Zabavushka is a blatant fake (not even a better copy). So, yes, please take it to paypal and ebay and indicate that this seller does fakes all the time (Kachinas CS GM comes to my mind immediately).
And for the future: Zabavushka is a sought after design and commands high prices if in new condition. A price like the one this seller asked, should give you pause ...

Thank you in advance :smile1:

Comments: I have read some negative reviews about this seller but I'm hoping this one turns out to be authentic. Thank you!

I think this is authentic, but we don't like authenticating on so few pictures, with so little detail.

Hello, the scarf arrived today and I really hope it's authentic because I'm in love with it! If you wouldn't mind giving these pictures a look I would really appreciate it. Thank you! (I apologize for the pictures being huge).

thank you dame de coeur. still, why the differences I wonder...
My apologies in advance for hijacking this thread and I'm not in any ways an authenticator.
The two Pivoines you're asking might as well be two different scarves and/or different issues. I recall one issue has the copyright symbol next to Hermes - Paris, while the other does not (like one on luxury-scarves.com, could be at somewhere else on the scarf), despite both look very similar in coloration and both have basket weaves. I don't have access to drouot so can't see the copyright location on that one. Sorry.
Would be helpful to see the care tag on the one from luxury-scarves to see which era it belongs to, though.

Comments: never surf ebay while drinking wine after a long hard day :( or you end up asking about authenticity AFTER the sale.

I now have this item in hand and cannot locate the copyright symbol. It weighs around 65 grams, feels like it has had a hard life, and the hem looks good to me. Not finding the copyright symbol where my (too late) research indicates it should be, has me concerned.

If you can, please give me an opinion on authenticity (despite the fact that I know better than to bid/win without authentication). Thanks in advance.....

Hi, long time no see. I think this is authentic. I have this coloration and will see when I get home if it has a copyright. What a great get this was! It that price you can easily wear as a belt or a purse, and not worry about hurting it. Well done.

Could you tell me what you need specifically? - I sent the seller the requirements from page 1 of this and this was what she responded with. She said she could not find the copyright hermes logo :shrugs:
I was ready to give this a thumbs up and then saw the scarf doesn't fit the box. You should ask for exact measurements. We need the copyright, signature, H-P and scarf title.

Can you please authenticate this scarf? it is not listed for sale, it is my possession, and I am pretty sure it is authentic from my own research but will appreciate your help so much!

Can you please authenticate this scarf? it is not listed for sale, it is my possession, and I am afraid it is NOT authentic. I did my my own research as I donot see a copyright mark anywhere... it weights about 64 gramms, and it is about 34"X34X, maybe a bit less. I will appreciate your help so much!
