Comments: I have read some negative reviews about this seller but I'm hoping this one turns out to be authentic. Thank you!
I think this is authentic, but we don't like authenticating on so few pictures, with so little detail.

I totally understand, and appreciate you giving it a tentative thumbs up. I have gone ahead and purchased it because I tried getting this in store over the weekend and they were completely sold out. Would it be possible to post pictures once it arrives or do only active sales get authenticated? Thank you!

I'm sure it's fine. Do post pictures though. Authenticity was never a problem with the original owner of TPRB, and she always posted tons of pictures. The new owner doesn't have the offer the same level of assurance.

Hi guys, I am now on the forum, and not sure where to ask, but are the folks at luxury-scarves.com authentic sellers of hermes scarves? many thanks!
This is the authentication thread, but I'm happy to tell you Luxury Scarves is not only reliable regarding authenticity, but is a great source of information via their Database. You might be able to find some other feedback at the Sellers thread. http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes-s...-resale-ebay-sellers-643531.html#post25099456

thank you sdsurfchick for your help. I am still confused with the design of the Les Pivoines, by Christiane Vauzelles

Most sellers over the Internet say they have the 1978 design when a basket weave is involved, and look like the ones on luxury-scarves.com
http://www.luxury-scarves.com/en/1_search/detail.php?ID=2851

however, I have found this other picture from a French auction catalogue and they look so much different, the 1978 edition! they seem to have more depth and you can almost smell them!

I want to buy the yellow and pink ones from luxury-scaves.com, but I am not sure if they are the original work or not... Help?

I am new on this forum, but from what I read about labels and silk, I would venture to say this is unfortunately fake. There are apparently very few Vintage scarves with a brown label and usually its done on a brown scarf I think. have a look here:

An authentic scarf feels like the silk is so luxurious, thick yet supple, versus thin, anemic. It makes a sound like no other silk when you fold it to wear.
I would return it quickly to the seller and notify ebay... But this is only my opinion... Take care.
