There are no hard and fast rules, evaluate everything and look at the scarf on balance, which is why you need many features in the photos. And of course,
Dimensions are rarely measured accurately enough , and even the stated dimension - 70 vs 90 - can be wrong. H has also changed sizes over time.
PS other threads are better suited for chatting than this one.
Many apologies! And thanks for the kindly tolerant reply.

Hallo !
I have never seen this colourway before in this format. Of note is the cashmere/ silk format vs the 140 cm silk format that a similar colourway was released in and occasionally found on eBay.

Merci beaucoup!

Having problems here , the photos dont zoom - cant make out anything accurately. Better closeups needed - see post 1 for list of features needed. Confused - there is caretag in the middle of the scarf - photo 3 - but another one sewn on - last 2 photos !!! Again, I cant make out much here. Not sure if you are interested in purchase or just curious about authenticity, so I stopped here.

Hello, can you please help me authenticate this Hermes scarf on ebay (current live listing)? It looks authentic with the box, but I'm concerned with the way the fabric is pulled - when the scarf is lying flat, it is sort of wavy around the edges (although the edges seem to be rolled...). Many, many thanks! :)

Auhentic CUIRS, no caretag, sad hems are poor. A good example of how hems are not always perfect, or conversely, bad hems are not a definite tell for authenticity.
