Hello!
I hope this post is okay, because it's a little different. I want to buy a scarf from an acquaintance, so there's no link available, but here are pictures. A tag is missing because one side has gone loose, I can't find a signature, and there's no box. Dimensions are 90 x 90 cm. Could you help me out if it would be a good buy or a fake one? Thanks in advance!

Hi-
Per Post #1:
“ALL Authentication requests require an active link to a currently For Sale item.“
There are no exceptions.

For private sales with no link you can contact a third party authenticator.
*Here’s a link to a H scarf authenticator to save you a search: https://www.vintage-hermes-scarf.com/services/

Alternatively you can have your aquaintance create a listing on a resale platform and resubmit your request with a link to the live sale.

Best wishes

Please authenticate this scarf. Sorry time to auction close is short (11h) - seller only posted the additional photos I asked for last night.

What you can do is search for the scarf online and compare detail very carefully , don’t rush into this one .

I doubt there is not enough detail here to authenticate FoSA. I am guessing not. I also know trr doesn't usually add photos beyond the listing. Any guesses?

Yes not enough detail. You might ask TRR for more photos.
We strive not to guess in this thread .…

idea: look at seller return policy first, take a chance, and authenticate for yourself upon receipt, return if not satisfied. There is always more info when scarf is in hand and you can search every inch of the silk, whereas we are limited and can only inspect what is shown

Thanks. Do you know if there were a lot of knockoffs of this one?
