Hi all, I just snagged a Zebra Pegasus gavroche in a nice somber navy from Fashionphile, and while I'm overall quite happy with it, the coloration seems to be a a little different from what I expected; I suspect this is another example of the difficulties of getting colors to register true to life rather than an authenticity issue (everything else looks good), but I thought I'd double check. After checking the archives here, it doesn't seem to have been a very popular cw when it was released; however, if any of you do have this piece and can verify what I'm observing before I remove the tags, I'd really appreciate the assistance.

I believe the official colorway is cw11, anthracite/noir/marine. In doing my research before purchasing and trying to triangulate what the actual colors would be, I thought that the large sections of the wings would be a very deep reddish/purplish gray, like this defunct ebay post might lead you to conclude:
eBay-prior sale

When my scarf arrived, it turned out to be a very neutral carbon gray; I've adjusted the colors in my photo to get as close to real as I can. Again, this isn't a problem, just a matter of double-checking that everything still passes muster. FWIW, I can adjust the other way and make the gray parts read reddish, so I am leaning towards this being technology issue and not an authenticity issue.

If you made it this far, thank you! I know it's a very minor question, and I do appreciate any help you all may have.

Hello. This thread is for live auctions or listings. However, for whatever reason, I will break rules and say that there's nothing wrong with this scarf or its care tag. There is a ton of information available that will make your vintage purchasing easier. Try googling Hermes Scarf Guides for essays on almost everything.

Hi everyone,
I got this scarf from a vintage shop in Italy. It never crossed my mind it could be a fake, but when I look at the tag it got me worries. Could you please have a look?

I see my stand-alone thread was redirected here; I know it doesn't conform to the rules for posting on this thread, so I will respectfully withdraw my request. I'd delete the post directly if I could, but it looks like that's not an option open to me anymore. Apologies, all.

I don't know this particular issue. Is it a dipdye? Sorry I can't help.

This looks okay. Based on the care tag, this may well be from the 90's. Do you get to inspect the scarf before you pay for it? I've always thought the feel of the silk is all the proof you need.

Comments: Just saw this on Craigslist, and it's in my area. I'm hesitant, because it's Craigslist, but who knows? Also, does anyone know what year this is? I'm guessing 2008, but I'd be ecstatic if it were 1992. (Birthday. ;)

I'd stay away from this auction just because it features two different scarves.

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with the authenticity of this scarf. It's 126 x 126, and can't see any size like this.
Thank you in advance.
